I once lived in a house in which a part of my bedroom is very close to the overhead tank. The only reason why I endured the fear of unforseen circumstances was that my apartment was downstairs. I felt any harm would start from top to bottom!

May her soul rest in peace. Upon investigation, I won't be shocked if the scaffold is made of these substandard steels all in a bid to cut costs. At least, if you can afford strong and heavy load bearing steel the landlord or however in charge should have considered concrete slab.

Poor Lady! She must have died a painful death. Though death Na death (all types no coming back) but her own can be imagined to be a painful one because she must have been awaken and went through a painful crushing before dying. The Landlord, the Contractor and the Engineer must be held responsible.

Something like this happen in my house last year, the overhead tank from the next compound fell into my compound, it only brake our fence, almost broke into the room and it happens in the middle of the night, nobody saw it coming, it was a full tank of water. Thank God no one sleep in that room.
This is an unfortunate incident.
