A professor in a university who teaches in the field of computer engineering, should he or she be able to troubleshoot and repair personal computers(PCs) like roadside technicians do? A lot of people assume they should but cannot back the claim. I wonder what Nairalanders think. olawalebabs, Richiez, Fynestboi

There's a difference between a Computer Engineer and a technician. While technically, he should be able to atleast understand possible issues that can cause the issue and troubleshoot said problems - Engineers build and design systems. |
