At this time ..... sight seeing Bell 206 helicopter belonging to New York Helicopters.... pilot and a five member family visiting from Spain ... two adults and three children on board ..... all killed. Flight from Wall Street area ...up the Hudson to George Washington Bridge ...then back down when eye witnesses claim the blade and pieces flew off of the chopper ... it stopped in mid air ...then plunged upside down into the cold waters ...stayed on the surface for a few moments then disappearing below. Presently ... wreckage is beginning to wash up ... child's sneaker ... soccer ball .. survival kit .... life jacket ...and 3 chopper seats. It seems the pilot knew things were beyond his control and asked the passengers to take emergency measures.
Today is damn cold for this time of the year and so will be the water. The investigation has already begun .... people and the company will be held accountable. They really recovered the victims pretty quickly ...two were rushed to hospital but kicked the bucket. I just hope the family members have the strength to cope with such a big and sudden loss ...a whole family wiped out just like that
