ALTSchool second semester has started. They are teaching intro to linux & the basics. They added leetcodes as part of the things we constantly need to do. Smh

Good for those just starting out. We should just have started with linux during first semester. Starting to feel like I better focus on my certification.

Omo, Tech isn’t easy if you don’t have other stable means of income. When it’s too stable or take your time, your zeal for learning will also reduce

I make roughly 200-300k from online surveys per month, among other hustles and guess what? Apart from the fact it takes a huge amount of my time, to read anything or follow classes dey hard me. Damn!

Can’t wait to get done with Alt school & get my certification.

But for now, we must survive. Inflation and responsibilities be making you feel like you’re making jack shit.

Corporate professionals, especially in tech, often face demanding work hours, including 17-hour days, leading to exhaustion. To succeed, one must remain composed under pressure.

Building a strong online presence on platforms like X and LinkedIn can help. Sharing tech-related content can increase visibility and growth. Networking with the right people and continually improving skills are also crucial for advancement.

By focusing on these strategies, individuals can overcome the challenges of the tech industry and achieve success. This approach can be a key to unlocking new opportunities and staying ahead in the competitive tech world.

I understand, but one has to work hard to get to those levels. You don’t just jump into tech and expect big earnings.

For surveys, If you’re sharp and street, get better vpn or prox.y, us/uk PayPal and No, create a black/caucasian profile. And sign up on survey sites. Keep your answers consistent.

That’s the free summary.

If you want constant solid updates and info, Buy the same course I did. Hold roughly 10-20k for tools. You go make am back within weeks.

Mind you, it gets tiring after a while. Once I meet my target, I’ll probably just stick with 2 high paying sites once in a while. Na prolific and Outlier I dey eye. If you get family/friend with sense for UK/US. Ask them to verify those accounts for you. The rest are like dogs in a manger. Typical Nigerians
God bless you…this summary is a headway and I wouldn’t want to derail the purpose of this thread. Thanks boss. I’ll make my researchs and give you feedback hopefully soon.

Concerning tech, I’m thinking about moving away from databases to either AI/ML or solidity blockchain development. Do you have any resources or roadmap I can use?

I’ve dropped the free summary for taking online surveys . Or you go for the intensive course. Choose one and go for it.

Been skipping my alt school classes, I know about ssh, user management etc already

Logged in yesterday to check and noticed something that finally caught my attention.

Ansible, Finally. Something worthy.

And we have been notified of our upcoming group project, Lol. I hope I get into a group of achievers else, hmmm. It’ll probably just die a quiet death like the HNG project for those that dropped out. Projects have a way of exposing the ones that can’t take the heat.

You want to do tech but give up easily at the first hurdle, Smh. Very annoying sets

Just click register and follow the prompts.

The course shouldn’t take you a week. When you’re done going through it, Let me know here so I can fill you in on some aspects and bring you up to date.

Don’t skip the basics please.

When your finances starts to balance with your expenses. You’ll know it’s time to scale up and take more risks. Because this economy is not smiling at all.

I would be focusing on ads and affiliate marketing for two of my online hustles next month let me compare. Tik tok ads cost money but I heard it’s worth it. Then route back some of the proceeds into domaining. Increasingly getting tired of hustles that takes a lot of my time. I prefer passive incomes stuffs.

I’m tired, seems like the more money you make, the more the bills. I do have savings though.

Altschool project group is quiet, lol. Seems What an old student said about this was true. Wish I didn’t waste money on this.

I was lucky to join a personal cloud group though, we’ll go far with our own curriculum than what altschool is giving.

All this and one still has to study for certification, no wonder so many people give up.

Sorry, can’t help. Given you all you need. I dropped a free summary for a guy in one of my replies. Anyone can pick that up and run with it.

Any inquiries apart from that is a luxury I can’t afford.

One step at a time. 2 hours a day.

There’s actually a free one I saw on twitter today by a less popular instructor. Just search for aws and check. I scanned through it and it has similar content.

Just have to find a way to combine this with the practicals
