An Ekiti pastor, Oluwatuyi Olaseinde Alex, has marked a decade since he defended himself against a hyena attack on April 12, 2015. The pastor recently took to social media to commemorate the incident, expressing gratitude to God for His protection and deliverance.

Pastor Alex captioned his post "Just like yesterday, Thank you Lord God," reflecting on the traumatic event that has become a testament to his bravery and faith. The post has garnered reactions from friends, family, and well-wishers who have congratulated him on reaching this milestone.

The incident has likely strengthened Pastor Alex's resolve to serve and trust in God, and his celebration serves as a reminder of God's protection and care, even in the face of danger and uncertainty. The pastor's story continues to inspire many, and his faith remains a source of strength and guidance for himself and others.

Stop being ignorant
It might not be a palm civet but that's a civet

Hyenas are not this small plus no man alive can kill an adult hyena with his bare hands. It should be the other way around.

Madam Bold Ignoramus, that is not a hyena.
Where was it written that whoever kills an animal can name it whatever except in The Handbook for Illiterates?

So if your illiterate husband names the animal a pig I have to throw away my education and follow his empty brain to call it a pig??

This is exactly why the guy above is advising you that school is not scam. Enroll for adult education today.

See people wey I dey share country with.

I was about saying that looks more like a civet than a hyena. A hyena is even way bigger than that, with a slanted back.

Tasmanian devil (as all other marsupials) can't be found elsewhere apart from the Oceania region. This is actually a civet.

Hyenas weigh an average of 45kg - 60kg so, I doubt that photograph. I also doubt that pastor had any encounter with hyenas in Ekiti state since they're mostly found in the northern part of the country. I have nothing against testimonies though but we should be sure of what we're saying
