Peter Obi, the Labour Party (LP) presidential candidate in the 2023 election, visited Alabi Yusuf Quadri at the Kirikiri Medium Correctional Centre in Apapa, Lagos, on Friday, April 11.

According to Yunusa Tanko, the interim national coordinator of the Obidient Movement Worldwide, Obi visited the minors in detention through the group.

Tanko wrote on his known X account:

“During the visit, he (Obi) connected with Quadri’s mother and sister, standing in solidarity with the family and expressing unwavering support during this difficult time”.

Peter Obi is the kind of man that will never abandon the country in their time of stress. He will be there to work, struggle and solve all our problems.

He has ever missed in the time of problems.

That boy go need all the support he can get from the society after he come out.

I thought empathy is a characteristic of all humans when I was growing up. But now I know better that empathy is a rare characteristic which very few possess.

how will someone visit a minor in prison without knowing the circumstances surrounding his jail time? didn't you read what brought him to jail? It's littered all over Nairaland.

The best thing is to relocate the boy and his family from that toxic environment they are living in to a more sane one opening a business for them in that same environment won't solve the issue that made the boy to be locked up in kirikiri the harassment and envy from the area boys is likely to escalate.

It is Buhari and Bola Tinubu's destruction of Nigeria's economy that have made it very difficult for average Nigerians to survive in Nigeria without engaging in corrupt practices, crime and illegalities that pushed those Nigerians into illegal businesses, and that is why Peter Obi and other sensible Nigerians are working hard to send Bola Tinubu back to Iragbiji or his asylum home in France so that well meaning Nigerians can rebuild Nigeria for the good of all Nigerians including yourself and family, so support Peter Obi for your own future and that of your family
