ijustdey:It is because IPOB has killed most of the active youths that have interest in policing and millitary by converting them to ESN thinking Biafra will happen and pay them big. At the end of the day, many of them are dead while some are languishing in jails now. Remaining youths are full of fear of joining because they may meet sudden death. The truth is that if the refuse to fill the slot now, Fullani police and millitary will always be posted to Biafra land. Don't complain if the maltreat or blocking road somehow in the future. We warned you not to waste your youths via futureless Biafra, but ipob didn't listen |

What do they need the useless military work. They want people they will be sending to boko haram to kill while they send thr own people to SE to be making money via road blocks. How much are they paid. The poor SW can take the quota and join to thr own.We igbos know better ways to create wealth and not serve a useless nation as food soldiers. |

Over 2000 bokoharam that have made a lot of soldiers become handicap and even useless to the society and their family, they even made some widows. These people with the so called "REPENTANT" tag have been reinstated into the society with no punishment and you expect a right thinking individual to come and join the military? Well Goodluck to those who joined. |
| Re: Nigerian Army Worries As South East Youths Shun Recruitment by udemzyudex(m): 9:10pm On Apr 12, 2025 |
crossbreedwears:You're the senseless one here bro, you've failed to reason properly. I have seen videos of soldiers with no helmet, no body armor and these guys stay in the bush for months fighting bandits and bokoharam, some get killed, some lost their limps, some their sight. The terrorist that are captured will be pardoned and sent back to the society. |
| Re: Nigerian Army Worries As South East Youths Shun Recruitment by udemzyudex(m): 9:12pm On Apr 12, 2025 |
These are mainly the people who will likely join the military. 1. Cultist who want government protection 2. Jobless Nigerians 3. Barrack boys ( those who grew up in the barrack) |

ijustdey:If it is NNPC, CBN, Customs, Immigration and other top public agencies recruitment now, it will not be offered to ordinary Nigerians! I am glad the youths are getting wiser and they are not taking this bate and the leaders should equally share this slots among themselves, hands them to their family/friends. |

I am sure you have seen videos where soldiers use helmet, fragmental jacket with pochies, but you won't mention it because of sentiment. Are you also aware some stubborn soldiers don't use the above mentioned equipments? Also are you expecting soldiers fighting terrorists to stay in town while these people operate? Are you also aware their are rotations of soldiers fighting in the NE? I would go on and on to educate you more about the military, but let me stop here. If you disagree with me, kindly ask any of your family members in the armed forces udemzyudex: |

crossbreedwears:Bro this has nothing to do with sentiments, I'm talking about soldiers in the bush fighting bokoharam, I'm not talking about those in the barracks with nice cloths. Bro there's nothing you can educate me about the military, this is not year 2005, this is 2025 where we have a lot videos of soldiers sharing their personal experiences online. I don't need to have anyone in the military before i understand what's going on. |

/ Why would anyone join the military if they are still doing "catch and release" for Boko Haram and ISWAP terrorists? That's a suicide move. The General should have all his kindred take up the slots. / |

| Re: Nigerian Army Worries As South East Youths Shun Recruitment by crossbreedwears(m): 7:34am On Apr 13, 2025 |
That is why i ask do you expect soldiers fighting BH to live a normal life like every other personnel in the barracks. Well, you won't really understand no matter how much i explain because youre not in service. I sustained explosion in the north east as an officer but i am better today with just scars on my body. udemzyudex: |
| Re: Nigerian Army Worries As South East Youths Shun Recruitment by udemzyudex(m): 8:44am On Apr 13, 2025 |
crossbreedwears:This is not about living a normal life, soldiers don't live normal lives. My point is how do you intend to motivate a soldier after seeing that those who killed his colleagues are reinstated into the society with no punishment? Have you seen a serious country fighting terrorism and after capturing some terrorist, they'll rehabilitate them and send them back into the society? Like I said earlier this is not 2005 where social media wasn't invoke, these days we have soldiers sharing their experiences, have seen soldiers coming to voice out on how they're not being treated well. Politics have taken over the military. Omo you're not better today with just scars on body, I don't believe that. I respect soldiers, in fact my respect for them have grown after seeing a lot of personal experience videos,i do follow benilson on Instagram and some other soldiers on social media. It's not easy out there. |
