Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.
FTC on page 2.
You are right. The billing can be annoying.
But it's refreshing to know that you have money to solve problems when the call comes.
When I was in Nigeria, I usually breathe in and out several times before taking a call from home. Now I'm the one calling them to ask how they are doing without fear of billing because I can afford to meet a large chunk of their needs.
I laugh when I read people trying to discourage people from leaving Nigeria for greener pastures. While it is true that not everyone who leaves Nigeria will make it, leaving Nigeria still remains a far better option, at least at this time.

My commute to work is a two-minute walk instead of the usual five hours in Lagos traffic.

Every time na only people way live for Lagos b4 them relocate una they interview, nonsense not everyone in Nigeria spends hours in traffic biko. I can't even remember the last time I spent close to 1hr in traffic.
the way they paint it makes it sound like it is everyday we experience serious traffic in Lagos...

He isn’t being entirely truthful. Deep down, I know he misses Nigeria. Yes, life here is challenging, but we still find ways to navigate those difficulties and live happily. Truly, there’s no place like home.
We wish you well!
NIGERIA cannot be like any other Countries of the World 🌎.
I know of a Woman, who moved to Canada with her New hobby and her Children in Nigeria, telling a Wicked lies 🤥 - that Boko-Haram Terrorists- Were Chasing Her In Lagos - can you just Imagine?
And the Canadian Officials Believed HER- gave her the Visas- Showing Clearly that Most of these Foreigners don't want Nigeria To Be Great - they Want Only to hear Bad News On Nigeria - no matter how Small!
Are these Embassies Not In Lagos or it's Environment,so how come someone was telling a Big Lie and you gave your Support?
This is how we destroyed Nigeria-to have our Ways!
Just Too Bad!

Good for you, you're saved.
Nigeria has killed a lot of dreams. We just keep pushing.

Hunger is at the moment causing me an excruciating headache. I don't know if anyone of u have experienced such before. I'm depressed as a result.
Their problem there is too much food and losing weight, which, believe it or not, is actually a worse problem than not having enough food to get fat in the first place!

You can only speak for yourself...!

You are not in the position to speak for those abroad or those in Nigeria.

Truly, no place like home... But, there are Nigerians who have never been able to call this country home due to what they have faced.

Las Las, home is where one finds peace and rest, whether Nigeria or abroad.

What a way to live one's life. Instead of asking God to give you a great life wherever you are, you are asking God for Japa. As if japa guarantees anything

Early days, my friend, early days. He is 33 years old and have been there for just 3 years.

The mental torture starts at 40 years and above after about 10 years abroad.

They are still in cloud 9 at the moment.

Watch that Obi Cubana video. Are they japa? Why can't you pray to make it anywhere you are instead of thinking life starts only after japa

The combo of ISWAP/BOKO HARAM/FULANI HERDSMEN/SYMPATHIZERS OF SHARIA CRIMINAL LAWS COUNTRY gradually occupy the spaces in southern Nigeria left by Jappa people.
That's how the Taliban gradually occupied the whole of Afghanistan now ruled with Sharia criminal justice system.
Unless something drastic occurs now, Nigeria is gone for Islamic Republic of Nigeria to be governed with Sharia criminal laws.

why won't he f**King pay long as the system is working for him. See me here on band A, hardly get light up to 8 hours for the past months but I the pay the require price.

A country where the leadership rulership lack accountability and derived joy in seeing the citizens go through hell. Everything has to be world war to get itdone in Nigeria.

My assessment of Nigeria

*No plans for mass poverty alleviation.

At best, the government or those in authority give handouts or sometimes give out money.. the money is given to someone who gives it to someone to give to the masses - in the end it's like throwing money into a crowd. Some would pick, some won't. No deliberate plan in place to industrialize and get people to work.

*The wealth of the nation lies majorly in the hands of those in authority. This should not be so.. the government should be providing enabling environment for big investments to come into the country. Here, everyone wants government money throw contract patronage, cronyism and blatant stealing..
Paying civil servants money monthly that barely take them home is not a way to alleviate mass poverty. The private sector is the biggest employer of labour. Any government policy that do not consider this fact and ensure they are empowered to create more outputs, generate more revenue and more jobs is a waste of everybody's time.

* very weak institutions scare away investors. When you have a Judiciary that appear corrupt and easily pliable, helping the government to capture the State
.. these investors guys notice all of these and won't bring their money where someone would cheat them of it and they won't be able to confidently get it back through the corrupt courts.

*Nigerians are deliberately kept poor by the leaders to make them weak and pliable. Only economically empowered citizens would have the strength to ask for change. Remember 2015?! Nigerians had the power to ask for change. Infact it was a collective resolve. Almost palpable. fuel was only N87.. exchange rate was N200.. you could buy 2Gig of data for just N200. Purchasing power was a bit reasonable.. most people didn't even realise the power they had. They used that power to collectively asked for a change, it was a Tsunami of some sort. Now the citizens are too hungry to even complain. The leaders today love it this way.
Nigeria's upper court judges lead the pack of destroyers of Nigeria.
Judiciary is touted to be the last hope of the common man. But Nigeria's Judiciary turns justice upside down.
