However, messages sent by Sunday PUNCH to the email address listed on the CBEX website were undeliverable at the time of filing this report.

If you bring back MMM again with the same logo, color theme and website Nigerians will still invest in it.
Strange how a generation growing up under such technological advancement is turning out to be the dumbest.

I have developed a platform that pays guaranteed 10% per month.
How will entrepreneurs like me Register with SEC when the government has made it impossible for startup like myself to thrive. This is why people will always fall victims to ponzi scams
Well.they weren't registered either

Why wait for Nigerians to be duped before shouting there were not registered, couldn't you have shut them down before they collected investors funds.

We are just reactionary
Rather, the question should be:

When will Nigerians get sense?

When will Nigerians stop looking for cheap, free funds?

All they did was to change the currency and pronto Nigerians believed in it.

Yet most of them will be forming wise here and there especially in the social media.

Some idiots around me at place of work were doing it secretly thinking I didn't know what they were doing. They would look at me and laugh like I'm some kind of mumu who doesn't know how to make money but just like it happened to some equally stupid like them with MMM I continued to feign ignorance knowing that when their cry eventually loud they wouldn't have any thing to hide again and so kaboomed! their money entered bush. Now they will look into the mirror and see the real mumunatu

A Muslim fanatic won't invest in such scheme

They believe it is usury, which is a mega sin in Islam.

That's why the government opened Islamic banks from them

PCEX have crashed as at today.
I invested 3000 Dollars....all gone.
It's painful but I've moved on. Afterall I made way more than that. My risk appetite is very high and it usually pays off than I lose
To get yourself out of extreme poverty you must take risk. You gain or loss. Such is life.

Nigerians that believe in 'grace' and 'destiny helper' The best thing is to leave them to be scammed. They will never learn lesson. Even after MMM. People that were scammed by CBEX will still be scammed by another get rich quick scheme. It's just a matter of time.

CBEX is a full blown scam. Good thing is that 90% of the people who "invested" their money knew they were taking a dangerous risk.

Shut them down, Nigerians will complain that you are reducing their chances for being rich.

The best way to deal with a Ponzi is to let the thing run it's course. That way people will have truth knocked into their head the hard way.

Plus investor wey dey offer 100% return on investment? Really?

Haven't Nigerians learned anything from MMM. Even then, for months SEC was warning and warning and warning Nigerians. Nigerians called them names galore. Once bitten..
This is the plain truth that's why in some cases, you allow people to learn. When MMM came I warned some colleagues but they saw me as enemy of progress till it crashed and they lost money. Now this one. I am just hearing about this recently. Many Nigerians are gullible and will fall again in some years to come under a different name. It's so sad.

There are better ways to have invested that money.

If you are a Stanbic customer, you should have asked about mutual funds.

As for MMM, I had heard about the founder in 2006 and how he had already ruined people in his home country.

As soon as it arrived Nigeria, I knew straight away to stay away
