Your nairaland is a circus and a play ground for trolls... And no nairalander has ever told you that nairaland is fine, each time you ask this question, nairalanders always tell you their complaints and would give you valid points on what you should change in here... But as always, you'd ignore their complaints like you're also ignore this one. 1. Your moderators are useless, they never respond when being mentioned for assistance, they don't respond to the report buttons or their mails... Why do you even have moderators when the trolls are already the ones moderating this forum? 2. As the owner of this forum, can't you see with your own eyes that it's not fine? Isn't it your duty to check the forum every now and then? 3. How come you were able to create this forum during a time when AI was not a thing, but now you're claiming that you didn't have the powers to do any changes due to lack of AI? Did you create this forum by magic from up above? You're just filled with baseless excuses. 1. This forum needs a block button instead of moderators, so that we can be able to block any trolls from threads that we don't want them participating in since your moderators are useless, biased, and don't know how to do their job. 2. Create an AI app that'll decide which topic is suitable for front page, not these biased trolls who always enable trolls to do as they please in here... They value the opinions of trolls more than those of decent nairalanders. 3. Allegedly there's no longer a deactivation option on this forum, why? Some of us are planning to leave this forum soon and I don't want to leave my nairaland account abandoned. 3. There should also be a delete option for nairalanders who want to delete their threads or comments. We know you're not going to bother making any changes, but hopefully you'll prove me wrong this time around. Seun: |

Thank you Seun for this. I want to say that Nairaland is a lot more than a connecting social media platform now. I believe that this forum can become a tool to fix this country. I therefore suggest the following: 1. Give more space to opinion writers like us to air our views. 2. I noticed you have a rabid fear of the Biafran question. However Biafra is a national question that we can find answers to here. Our blog, textandpublishing.com, has written many articles on the Biafran question but you never put front page. 3. Consider bringing the brightest minds together in this forum for a meeting - a physical one. We can start with a virtual one. They can find their way to and from Lagos, but provide accommodation and feeding. Let these young men and women deliberate on the Nigerian question for two days, and then submit a memorandum to the government, while at the same time proffering some action points. Nairaland.com is a unifying platform for Nigeria. You can reach us privately for more ideas. Well done with what you do. |

emmy512:So that Islamophobic people like you can be insulting Muslims and making derogatory statements about Islam. Why must you discuss Islam when you are not a Muslim Why should Nairaland allow you to be insulting Muslims in the guise if discussion Why must you make derogatory statements about Islam in the guise of discussion. |

Mine is on the religious section. On the Christianity side, everyone is free to say what he or she wants to say without being compelled to denounce their faith but for the Islamic side, we’re compelled to denounce our faith before we comment. |

1. Site needs a visual lift. It's been the same for a very long time. Infact, copy a little from the successful platforms like facebook, twitter, reddit etc. but add the 'naija' flavour to it. Note that your front page is the soul of the site. Focus heavily on it. 2. Tell your mods to remain as neutral as possible regarding 'free speech' on this platform. Yes, clamp down on hate speech and trolls, but don't shadow-ban accounts for voicing out their thoughts here. 3. Advertisers are the driving force for revenue to you and the team, but don't sell your soul for a few million bucks. Let Nairaland speak positively for you in your absence. |

Make a new switchable mode with better and much more present UI and functionality. This original UI can remain as lite mode (much like Facebook lite and original Facebook). This will satisfy everyone You need a better chat box and real time You need a dislike button Ability to post videos and bigger photos A better app A block button A timeline feature for your favorite topics and users. Turn this site to one of the best sites in Africa, it's time |

Stop the swearing before we can comment on Muslims thread or let the Muslims also swear on Christian thread. |

divinetouch24:The creed should be removed altogether, I'm sure he has been to Quora countless times, no need for swearing on any religious thread if the adherrents can't endure the heat they should get out of the kitchen. The mods needs to differentiate between threads that are worth pushing to the FP and threads that dont even pushing anyway. |

The tribal hatred that goes on on nairaland is sickening. You need to be strict about hateful posts and comments by tribal bigots. |

Establish strong measures to curb tribal and religious intolerance and bigotry here. This forum is supposed to be for Nigerians, something to unite us and not divide. The Yoruba and Igbo fight here is sickening. Permanently remove people who make this space toxic. Close their accounts and monitor any other accounts that may be related to them through their trends in comments. Establish a KYC procedure to ensure that one person doesn't have more than one account. Use Ai to collect data from new registration to avoid multiple accounts registration. Remove the limitations in Muslim thread before you comment, or you include it in Christian thread too. |

Seun, (1)-Find a way to curb bigotry/tribalism. The Igbo vs. Yoruba stuff is nauseating. Same with religious stuff. (2)-Educate mods to stop pushing useless topics to FP. (3)-Beggars spam every topic/post. Even sombre ones about tragic incidents. Curb it. We need something like our good, old TENs back. A dedicated charity section would help. (4)-NL needs a face-lift, biko. |

Monetise with that weak naira? ![]() The forum is fine without monetisation... Nigeria and Africa as a whole still have a long way to go before they can even think of creating monetisation apps, you'll only get scammed... ![]() illicit: |

I don't see the function of the share button on comments. Why not add LOVE, SAD, DISLIKE, CONCUR buttons for us to express our minds without comments. |
