Re: Killings: Gov Mutfwang Bans Night Grazing In Plateau, Restricts Motorcycles by LegendHero(m): 6:58pm On Apr 16, 2025
This governor is not wise.

I remember when Tinubu asked the question “Where are the cows”.

Basically what that means is that the people killing people don’t move with cows. They move with weapon will sole aim to kill, maraud, and ethnic cleanse.

If you are banning only night grazing, how does that solve the problem? Did people told you those that came to kill them few days ago came with cows?

Ban open grazing completely. Then finance state security outfit of the locals and request FG for military/policemen to form a join task force. Then place them at strategic spots between location so they can respond at least within 15 — 1hr from hot spot. Even getting walking talkie that work with satellite to alert danger zone.

If 36governors + FG wont give state “Police”, then give state “Security force” whose sole objective will be to solve all this menace.

Duh, so you think he should relocate to Plateau state? If he does anything now, it is still your voice that will be loudest about democracy in danger.

As in Plateau State has a governor with immunity and security vote in billions, has security budget pegged at N7.36bn, has deputy governor, house of assembly members representing the various local governments, has senators and house of rep members collecting salaries, and sore losers think it's solely Tinubu's job to deal with every fly and mosquito that bites in Plateau?
Do they really want to turn the whole of Nigeria into some states in the NEast and SEast where all they do is nothing but blame the FG for their self inflicted problems?
Shut up mumu.
Does money buy soldiers?

That's a good development from the governor,if he can ban open grazing in totality will be much better and one more thing is that the security operatives should concentrate on soft target and remote areas.

The President said he has offered some solutions to the Governor several times but he didn't implement them. Unfortunately, it takes a very sad series of incident for him to implement it. As Governor of a state, you have the power to ban open grazing and implement such a ban through state laws and also enforce it through states law enforcement outfits. You don't have to be politically correct and pander to some people at the detriment of the lives of your citizens.
It is quite unfortunate that the man who confessed he paid off the killers during his time as Governor, is rather more concerned about coalition than talking to his kinsmen to sheath their swords and return to wherever they came from.

So what stops the president from declaring a state of emergency undecided but if nah Rivers Tinubu will find his voice to declare state of emergency . PBAT is not the right leader for Nigeria at the moment he's misplaced a lot of priorities

They do....but the existing outfit needs far more support, resources, and gadgets compared to what they had before (Lalong the Buhari pleaser dismantled that State-owned security outfit only to invite the Northern Miliarty hyenas with questionable motives to guard the hen house). Thankfully the Plateau people booted him...

You know, just after the attack in Bokkos and the subsequent one in Bassa....there was supposed to be another attack yesterday night at another LGA location called Riyom. That attack failed because the youths and security outfits were hyper-vigilant and alert. They did face the enemy boldly and squarely.

My advice to Muftwang is since he has banned Night grazing, then invest in the resources to equip the local Operation Rainbow outfit with the necessary tools (powerful Night Vision goggles that can zoom and spot strange movements from hundreds of miles away, walkie talkies etc.,). You want the people to help in gathering proactive intelligence. Invest in the tools since you all refused to legalize Automatic weapons to balance the war game.

There should be an utter ban on open GRAZING. Any one with cattle should be treated as an enemy.

They preferred to set up a security outfit to destroy people's livelihood instead of setting up security outfits to destroy the people who are destroying people's lives and properties.

Here, I also agree with you. I suppose in anticipation of any future retaliatory moves by the Fulani Terrorists, they really need to ramp up every enforcement mechanism and defensive measures as well as take full addvantage of the "high ground" advantage the Plateau topography naturally offers.

Some mad dog Fulani Terrorist organization in Kaduna a few days ago declared war on every Plateau ethnic group claiming that the existing Military structures in Plateau (that they can no longer control to do their bidding as before)--are arresting or killing their members. Evidently if you connect the dots, you may deduce that that may have fueled their recent attacks too. The blood-letting in Benue is connected to an Open grazing ban that was defied by the Terrorists who took it upon themselves to also attack their hosts. Their well known pattern of attack is to send out innocent looking scouts to diverse villages to "blend in" to be able to study the patterns of the natives day and night. Then they pick out isolated villages around the edges and come like a Zombie horde swarm in the night in their hundreds with machine guns.

Relying on the existing FG security apparatus is inadequate. In anticipation of the escalated retialations from being booted out with their cows--all the abled indigenous people need to be armed. Self-defensive automatic weapons have to be legalized.

I'm even shocked that night grazing is just being banned by the State Government inspite of all the previous killings.
