I want MLS to be partey replacement
This boy will perform wonders
His development under Arteta has been one of the brighter spots under Arteta siince he transitioned.

Last year, I said the decision to play him in defense alongside Gabu and Saliba is great for his development. I also believe he belongs in the middle long-term. His development reminds of Saka starting out as a LB before transitioning to the attack fulltime. However, I will have no issues if Arteta decides to keep him as LB.

Reads like where is Raumdeuter every time I read it.

We need this type of confidence and morale as captain. He is on the right path for sure.

I have always longed for an original HaleEnd captain and this may be it.

Partey is my player of the round! I mean, what a player. The way this man controls the game, reads the game and keeps us stable is unbelievable. Pressing him is an absolute waste of time. If we don’t find a quality replacement, abeg, extend my guy by a year.

😂😂

The lad is definitely captain material, there was a time he carried the ball from our box to Madrid even Bellingham was dropping and two other Madrid players only for Martinelli to waste it

Boy is a good ball carrier

I have said this severally, what if Arteta continued from where Ebening stopped with Martinelli’s trial/transition to CF?

I never stop thinking about it and days like today don’t help. He finished that 2nd goal well. That was a striker’s finish.

I’m happy he scored after those hypertensive moment he cause but we definitely need an upgrade on the guy
Did you see how he behaved enroute the Martinelli goal.

Guy is a minus 3 for any counter attack. He can't even think of running ahead to be on receiving end of a pass and score. Arggghhh. What happened to Martin?

Merino vs Partey for the solid rock of this tie.

Merino involved in 3 goals involvement out of the 5 is tremendous. 2 assist 1 goal.
We would be talking non stop about this if not for Rice extraordinary freekick goals.

I hope the mistakes in the past will be enough to not loseguard tonight

Sporting Lisbon
Porto
Bayern Munich
Inter Milan
Early moments of 1st leg vs Mbappe.

Plus all the results of yesterday too. All 1st win teams lost and were almost booted out cos they approached the game like as if all was finished. Imagine such mentality at Barca and PSG. Definitely not Arsenal. I hope not.
And so it was.

He surprised me too.

I expected Madrid to win by 1-0 or 2-1, so the team really performed beyond my expectation.

Yes MLS is the biggest discovery of the season.

My only disappointment is Partey's yellow.

Take a bow Arteta, this one is for you Sir.

Arteta executed this round to perfection. I was thoroughly impressed by the approach to the 2nd leg.

On the next round against PSG.

Against PSG, arteta should just play him in partey role, timber to left back and white in right back
Playing rice as dm will disrupt the progress of this present squad

Madrid needs a Mourinho or Klopp to end that player bigger than club culture. Till then, if that's how they do, they should getat.

Henry spoke to Saka. Said he shouldn't think much about the pk. Igwe na better motivator. He praised Martinelli too. It's been long he did that.

A player with such level of influence has to be measured with how he talks and interacts with current players because it can become disruptive and a distraction to the club if not properly handled.

Look no further than United's class of 92 who feel compelled to continuously impose themselves and their opinion on every aspect of the club. This has become a major issue that has caused further instability with United. The United class of 92 are becoming a curse to that club.

Henry has been class! Wenger is another one who has refused to be a distraction.

I tell you. Arteta needs to address this culture of unnecessary yellow cards. It pisses me off. Now Jorg will have to play PSG. Omo
Even Raya coping one at 38 mins for time wasting seem strange... How Timber ( a regular card magnet) escape one yesterday still baffles me...

Maybe Merino drop to DM and Trossard upfront... Buh I really respect Jorg anyday anytime especially in big matches he never disappoint...
