Annahh:They run banks else where in the world without all these charges yet they pay salary and print paper including all the funny justification you are giving for over-exploiting Nigerian ...even right here in Nigeria....there are banks that don't charge all these outrageous fees with even better interest rate.. The average nigerian is used to being oppressed and exploited......bad part is, we smile and justify the exploitation/oppression on behalf of those exploiting/oppressing us |

abobote:why do you lots defend irresponsible and wicked policies against yourselves and the people? The good thing is one way or the other you will also feel the pains like other Nigerians. In other countries you can see and feel what the government does with all this money. But in your country this money goes to the pocket of your leaders, yet you defend this policies. You are a Buffon! |

Bankers have finished Nigerians. Unfortunately, the FG through the CBN is not ready to do anything other than issue press releases. A lot bank managers should be in prison. |

He predicts that traditional banks will struggle against fintech companies, which continuously evolve to meet customer needs. Over time, as fintechs gain market trust and demonstrate longevity, investors will shift their focus, selling shares in legacy banks and buying into fintech firms. “Those banks, no matter their size, may eventually give way to the new,” he says.Who still uses traditional banks these days? I get two Op accounts, two PP accounts, I get Mp, branch and FM. Na to just dey use my Jaizz acct receive salary remain .And to think that I have up to 15 traditional bank accounts, chai! |

MyExpression:No card maintenence fee No sms alert fee No transfer charge for some, and very low for some when compared with that of traditional bank. FG just targeted them too recently for N50 electronic charges when FG realised that citizens are abandoning traditional banks for Fintech and the N50 wasn't forthcoming like before ![]() |

Racoon:Not surprised at this. that is the flagship of BAT my boi. No clear cut avenues of setting up income generation systems like factories, industries, or other money making businesses to make money for the govt but only knows how to apply multiple taxations to exploit the common man. If you doubt me, see what is happening in Lagos as a case study. Lagos has no industries or any other important business to generate money for the govt apart from multiple taxations. Taxing, taxing, and taxing- that is all they do in Lagos. The prototype is what he copied to use and rule the country with. |

Most of our banks are ripping us off, I decided to limit transactions on my GTB account for a month for easy calculation of charges by month end as I had noticed excess charges in previous months. So at the end of the particular month I was debited 220 naira for sms alert charges. With transactions not more than four including their inter bank transfer charges alert, the alert charges and vat on the charges shouldn't be more than twenty naira. I had to raise the issue via one of their complaint channels and I was duly credited of the excess charges. Imagine millions of unsuspecting customers with multiple transactions being cheated this way every month. |
