The main reason why many Nigerians go oversease is because JAMB cannot create enough spaces for the number of students wanting a university education. It is why JAMB brought in UTME, largely because if you passed JAMB but no space, you could be sent to a polytechnic, monotechnic or college of education.

So, rich Nigerians and middle class Nigerians choose abroad. Yeah, some choose it because better facilites. But if they all came home, there would be space issues. We really struggled to find space for students coming in from Ukraine and Sudan when war broke out...because it was not enough.

If Obasanjo had not allowed private universities, the situation would have been worse.

Trump is setting a very dangerous precedent. There was a guy in his final year whose student visa got revoked meaning all the studies up till final year is wasted.

I honestly pity folks in the US with the mad emperor.

They should not just cancel people's visa the should also refund the school fees paid, you can't denied someone visa after you made him pay school fee upfront, that is daylight rubbery!
