dreezy007:If you have 5.7 million to invest, leave 2.4L motors. 1.4 - 1.8L should be your aim. It's the same fares for my 3.5L SUV and 1.8L sedan. In fact, I'm thinking of going fully electric soonest. |

Omoapena:Relax my boss, I don't hustle that hard. I have just mastered what works for me. "Night shift". This month alone, I have taken 5 days off. Still have another 5 days off before month end. You think i don't like to enjoy my profit ![]() |

dreezy007:Investing 5.7m in this hustle, wrong move Using 2.4l engine for this hustle, wrong move You should be thinking of how to maximise your profit and recoupe your capital in the shortest possible time frame What you should look for is a 1.0 -1.8l engine at most, the cheapest available car brand, capital wise and maintenance wise |

Thanks for your kind response and advice @obedibombedi @Dav1002 thank you aswell I appreciate your response. Please do you have a specific car brand I can look at and for what price bracket, as of Corolla it’s also way over 5m the best one I saw that passed inspection was at 5.5m |

dreezy007:Dem say Honda Civic 03 - 07 is the best alternative to Corolla and cheaper. 4m max should get you a perfect civic, I think. Much respect, boss. |

Glithronix:Really there is no offense except they know u are doing ehailing with it. In which case, it is hackney permit they will require of u. The bottleneck has always been from d ehailing coys. But if they no longer request for Lagos roadworthiness certificate to register and drive in Lagos then to hell with Lagos State plate number. Just look for someone living in one of the remote states, they will register and send all ur documents via waybill, same thing for yearly renewal. U don't need to travel anywhere. NB: I learnt Abuja also does vehicle inspection like Lagos before Roadworthiness certificate is issued. |

sunnymighty:If you can afford a brand new OEM, you are better off. 10 years and you won't have issues whatsoever I'm saving for a set. |

Pearl1910:Ooh, that's good then. The brother that asked about this originally should see this. Make dem RS & VIO no go run am street. @the bold, I don't think this is totally best to do. Before you send money to someone to do it for you over there and have it waybill to you, you have done your stuff here and dusted. The link you have over there fit mess you up. Make subsequent renewal should just be done here to avoid stories. Make him just dey run him things here by himself. Much respect, sir. |

sunnymighty:I have no idea of the toks. Why not just get new ones nah? I changed all my four absorbers mid last year, all cost 78k (new) + 6k for my mechanic to help add 1inch on all to raise dem up small. I can't remember how much for each of them, but they totalled 78k sha (all the four). Much respect, boss. |

Pearl1910:both lol What I’m trying to say is that I was expecting return on ehailing to be be more than 30k a week Especially with the fact that he was claiming to be able to pay for the car in less than 2yrs |
| Re: If You Are Uber Partner In Lagos, Please Share Your Experience Here by sunnymighty(m): 12:31am On Apr 17, 2025 |
Obedibombedi:How much do.you think OEM is likely to cost? He quoted 22k for just one tokunbo shock absorber and not even a pair. |

66forlife:All these Forex people. Why not continue making the money for yourself? You no go like be like dangote? Any venture where someone is trying to drag people in so that they can earn like he is doing is a red flag. Businesses don't easily reveal whatever trade secret that is keeping them ahead. |
| Re: If You Are Uber Partner In Lagos, Please Share Your Experience Here by Nobody: 7:42am On Apr 17, 2025 |
UrPapa:your friend is overzealous and doesn't know the current reality of ehailing.. 2years isn't feasible at all, he should calm down and enter the ehailing to understand the current reality of the job before expecting himself to complete the payment under 2years. |
| Re: If You Are Uber Partner In Lagos, Please Share Your Experience Here by Pearl1910: 8:24am On Apr 17, 2025 |
UrPapa:Return is largely more than 30k weekly now. U might have read old posts. If ur friend says he can pay for muscle in two years ask him in practically terms how he intends to achieve that. |
| Re: If You Are Uber Partner In Lagos, Please Share Your Experience Here by Pearl1910: 8:29am On Apr 17, 2025 |
Omoapena:Do u know how much the car is? Why is 2years not enough to pay for a car? |
| Re: If You Are Uber Partner In Lagos, Please Share Your Experience Here by Nobody: 9:02am On Apr 17, 2025 |
Pearl1910:I believe it can't be less than 5m, is 5m feasible to complete in less than 2years couple with other expenses? |
| Re: If You Are Uber Partner In Lagos, Please Share Your Experience Here by Pearl1910: 9:16am On Apr 17, 2025 |
Omoapena:U were asking for 50k plus to rent your car innit? So if u pay even 50k weekly for HP, that's more than 5m in two years. Excluding down payment. |
| Re: If You Are Uber Partner In Lagos, Please Share Your Experience Here by Barbiturate(m): 9:44am On Apr 17, 2025 |
Omoapena:Bombedibomb is making 1 million in a month. That's 12 million in a year. 24 million in 2 years. Why can't he make it in 2 years? By your own 56k weekly, he will make it in 2 years. Cut the guy some slack biko 😊 The hustle is VERY profitable now, more than ever 😊 |
| Re: If You Are Uber Partner In Lagos, Please Share Your Experience Here by Nobody: 10:56am On Apr 17, 2025*. Modified: 11:18am On Apr 17, 2025 |
Barbiturate:lolz, 1. it can't be less than 5m isn't 5m, just an assumption which it's definitely going to be more than that. 2. for a newbie, it will be difficult to adjust to the understanding of the hustle before he will be able to find it profitable 3. this is HP which means all maintenance on him, and that's more expenses including his personal expenses. 4. the person making 1m monthly is a pro and that's not his entire take home. also, the friend said 1½years which I find unfeasible as a family man. |
