Wike: I sit down as a politician, and I analyse the candidate who is likely to win. In politics, it's not always a right that okay, this is the best candidate.

Nigerians today, in their politics, so many factors come in and I have always told people this... Whether it is correct or not, is a different thing.. look at how Tinubu won. Mind you, whether APC likes it or not, it was very turbulent for Tinubu to have scaled through that election. His own Party administration, you could see, people don't want to speak the truth, before that election put in things that would have made him fail election woefully.

The fuel crisis, the Naira issue, it was terrible. No Party in Government at that time will bring such policy when you know you are running election but everything was done and he survived it. So that's how you will know there are people, first of all, God is on their side and two, they know this game.
You must give it to them.

If Peter Obi could only get 3 states in the last election, what are the chances of him winning in 2027? The likes of Wike, Aregbesola, Akpabio, Kayode Fayemi are all from the South West, the region where Peter Obi performed woefully.

As it stands now, Tinubu is the only candidate with a solid national structure.

2027 election would be tougher than 2023 election
