psalmsjob:You're not talking right. I voted Obi in the last election. I might vote Obi again in the next election. But does it mean I won't wish Tinubu well? God forbid. All we (both APC, PDP, LP, etc) want is a better Nigeria. And we will witness a better Nigeria in our lifetime. A new Nigeria is POssible! |

Racoon:I pray you get sense one day. Even if Tinubu is not the president, he has all the means to travel around the world. Being in UK for days or weeks doesn't stop the president from performing his constitutional duties. Change this your negatively mindset, it's no more criticism of the government it's hatred for the country. |

APC are damn evil. Release only half truth to the uninformed public. Why has Debt Service Risen under Evil APC than any other government. Why not release other multilateral groups and local institutions. Like World Bank JP Morgan & CBN dollar sovereign Deb t, , IDB, AFDB, Africa exim Bank, China Eximbank, French development Lending, Euro Bonds, Local financial institutions holding bonds, and individual Treasury bills Etc. your allocating almost 8 billion USD to service both Foreign & Local debt 🤷🏿 |

Jorussia:This news gladdens my heart because I thought all the government was doing is borro, borrow, borrow. At least the debt reduction from 2023-2024 shows that the money saved from subsidy is being put to good use. The ultimate goal should be to settle all the debts and stop further borrowing. If the president can do that, that's really when the economy will pick up for good because there'll be more money for the government to spend here in Nigeria instead of servicing debts. However, you mean to MAXIMIZE oil production. If more refineries could come onboard, petrol price will reduce significantly. This is why I suggested the other day that the president should give out oil production and refinery licenses to as many companies as capable. If the above two scenarios could be achieved, Dollar price could fall even below N1,000/$1. On the whole, the president knows what's he's doing. |

Jorussia:. Until a bag of rice returns to 18k and naira to dollar rate 200 naira and petrol price per liter 97 naira, whatever I see in the news is still bad news to me. Those are the three good news we were enjoying in Jonathan's time but didn't know they were good news until Buhari came to destroy and then Tinubu came to perfect the destruction. |

Jorussia:With a budget benchmark of N1,500 to $1, calling for the exchange rate to drop to N1000 is unrealistic and calling for chaos. How will federal and state governments fund their budgets at that rate? It’s even worse now that prices of crude oil has gone down as a result of Trump’s tariff war. So, keeping the exchange rate stable at around N1,500 throughout the year will be a massive macroeconomic target for the CBN this year. |

ALTERNATEID:Oga I am not stupid, and i know what i wrote above.2mbpd and and against our current 1.5mbpd will offset the #500 difference in fx.we stopped collecting VAT on petroleum products because of its current high cost.Forexample,fx is #1000 retail price of PMS should be around #550.If govt add VAT, PMS price can't be more than #580.Dont let anybody deceive you,our current fx of #1600 doesn't have any benefit to the Nigerian economy. |
