Aisha Jummai Al-Hassan is a Mumuye. A lawyer by training, Jummai became Taraba State Attorney General and Commissioner of Justice. She was appointed the Chief Registrar of the High Court of the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja on 17 December 2003. After she retired from service she went into business.

Aisha Jummai Al-Hassan joined politics and was elected Senator for the Taraba North constituency of Taraba State, Nigeria in the April 2011 Federal elections. She ran on the People's Democratic Party (PDP) platform.
