mrvitalis:Oga next time when you want to tell lies, do not use figures as your basis, as besides the fact everyone will see your are an ethnic bigot, it now exposes your battles with illetracy and dullness. Next time please come clean. You want to attack Yoruba people (and not the SW) that we did not help Jonathan to win 2011 and we were inconsequential in his loss in 2015. Oya lets see what simple figures say. In 2011, in the 7 states the Yoruba dominate (if you like try and make a Chikezie governor in Lagos so we can prove it you), Jonathan won 6 states and only lost Osun state to the Yoruba candidate named "Oladimeji" Ribadu. He got 3m votes, Ribadu got 1.4m and Buhari barely managed to get 400k votes, despite having the more popular Yoruba man as his running mate. GEJ won the election by winning 23 states against Buhari 12 states (which included no Yoruba state) and also scoring 22m to 12m votes. GEJ won only one core northern state, Adamawa as Buhari cleared the rest of his kith an Kin. PLEASE remember that you win presidency by number of people that actually vote for you and not your perceived supporters. When GEJ now decided among many things other things, to properly validate PVCs, inflated figures drastically dropped and we went on with the 2015 election. GEJ lost by getting 12.8m to Buhari's 15.4m votes. Almost 10m votes vanished for him just like that and Buhari's votes had increased by 3m. We shall see later where most of that 3m increase came from. For the Yoruba states that GEJ had won convincingly before he decided we were not relevant, GEJ won 1.7m votes, losing almost half of his total supporters in our states. The only state he won was Ekiti. As for Buhari, the man that scored 400k votes (with more than half coming from one state alone in 2011) and won "ZERO" states among our 7 states....well he won 6 states and improved his number to 2.7m.... over +2.3m more votes than he scored in 2011. Now Mr Slow in maths, if Buhari only beat GEJ by 2.6m votes and we gave him +2.3m that he did not have in 2011 while removing 1.3m from his opponent GEJ (a cumulative pull down effect of 3.6m) how does that say to you that we influenced GEJ's loss? Are you aware that if like in 2011, where Buhari failed to get 25% in any Yoruba state except Kwara, if he had not gotten our votes he would have had to do a runoff (he only achieved 25% in 26 states thanks to una type of mentality) ? I did not even include the likes of Kogi and Edo that we have influence in to add to the analysis.... Anyway, Buhari has said it several times that he became President because Yorubas decided to support and vote for him...if you like you can keep dreaming where you are that a Presidential candidate can achieve his dream without at least a considerable amount of our support. Luckily for you and your candidate, we vote like normal people and not 90% to 10% like some regions. |

Emmanuel900:You probably just replied me because you wanted to use the word phrase "super delusional." I'm not the OP. I have only clarified the issue of "massively" as opined by the OP. It was clear to me that over 90% of votes compared to about 60%, one is massive and the other isn't. If you claim to represent any group of people, then you haven't done them any good. Please don't reply me because it's almost impossible ti drag me into any gutter level ethnic slinging match |

eastOFwest:Unku, 60% of votes in a democracy with more than 3 candidates is recognised as "massive" among normal civilised peoples. Trump beat Kamala in the US in what all media described as an overwhelmingly massive win, scoring less than 50% of total votes cast. Trump and his supporters (which include many of your kith &Kin) have described the result as a "massive mandate" over and over again. Winning 5 out of 6 states in the SW and winning Kwara (6 out of 7 Yoruba states) is a massive mandate from the Yoruba as from day one we have been too civilised to give someone a 95% mandate as is obtainable in your region. This is also the pattern in which people in the UK, France, Italy and other civilised places vote. 95% mandate is what you get with fake written elections or people from lower civilisations with lesser intelligence, as "group think" has been scientifically proven as a symptom of lesser intelligence. Unfortunately this is a fact of life and you will not be able to dispute this with any relevant example (scientifically or historically)
