All these clowns working for Tinubu. They all know Atiku is the only coalition candidate that can defeat Tinubu.... Unfortunately, obidients with low zero political intelligence will be shouting Obi can defeat Tinubu.. . Where will Obi get the votes from to defeat Tinubu? Obi might get 90% votes from SE, 50% from SS, 15% from NC, 10 % from SW 5% from NW and maybe 10% from NE...Atiku/Soludo ticket is very good. Soludo should take over from Atiku in 2031 or 2035. We need a sound Igbo mind not a dullard parading as a Messiah.
you have a point but if Atiku/Soludo run, I hope Obi will not run in another party or his present party like he did in 2023? Because he will reduce Atiku votes to win tinubu

If the coalition can comes up with a candidate like;
Osinbajo and kwankaso, then tinubu will be gone forever. Make Dem give Obi SGF once Dem enter.
but kwankwanso only won kano State in 2023 election

But you agree that Obi can't win if he's the flag bearer? Atiku, Elrufai and kwankwaso will never agree to be his running mate. Which candidate up north can defeat Tinubu in the North apart from these 3?

Obi won the last general elections fair and square.

That is why the ruling APC becomes excited once they hear his name.

Unless there are powerful outside influences to help ThuvB, Obi will beat him again in his backyard, compound and community.
The main point is which strong northern candidate will agree to be Obi running mate not datti wey no get level

You people should stop deceiving yourselves, Obi did not win that election?

Nobody knows Labour Party in the north
exactly what I'm saying. Not even labour party but Obi himself and his running mate are not known up north. Left to me, if Atiku can come up to pack northern votes while Obi become his running mate to pack South East, South South and some South West votes then it's a win. Northern won't vote for Obi if he's the flag bearer

You guys said the same thing in 2023 that Atiku is the only candidate who can beat Tinubu despite a northerner just completing a 8 year term. Against all odd and with subtle opposition from a sitting president, Tinubu beat him blue black. It is now that Tinubu is the one who will conduct his own election that Atiku who couldn't beat him even when Atiku has the support of a sitting fulani president? Only Goodluck Jonathan can unseat Tinubu. All the favour is towards Jonathan.
Tinubu beat him because of Obi factor. If Obi hadn't contested or chose to be Atiku running mate then Atiku will win

Kwankwaso messed up big time, only realising himself when it has become late.
Unfortunately, he's no longer as relevant as he previously was.

Governor Zulum of Borno is a man whose achievements speak for itself, even though I don't like him.

If Atiku will agree to be Obi's running mate (which will look awkward but nonetheless, overturn the APC), then Zulum will make sense.

Atiku and Obi would pull block votes, but none of them can singlehandedly defeat Tinubu.

Atiku as a presidential candidate now that South is yet to complete her turn is another factor to fail. His brothers will prefer South or Tinubu completes his 8 years than gamble with Atiku. One factor or the other will always make him fail.

you're right. I think Atiku should deputise Obi so that Obi can get substantial votes in the north.

This one dey find who Tinubu go easily defeat. Make coalition use southern candidate against Tinubu.
The North has no incentive to go and start another 8 years wait with another southern candidate(which could cause power not going to the north till 2035), they will instead endure 4 more years of Tinubu and get power back in 20231. I hope PDP and coalition will not play into the hands of those setting traps and advising them to use a southerner in 2027.

His brother did not fail him in 2023, even after 8 years of Buhari another northerner, despite the fact buhari and majority of northern governors being against him in 2023. Is it now that a southerner has done 4 years that his brothers will now prefer south? Don't forget Atiku had majority of his almost 7million votes from the north in 2023. If Atiku gets the ticket(which is most likely) he will do better in the north than he did in 2027. APC people know this and that's why they are doing all they can to put themselves in a position where they can write south south votes in Tinubus favour (rivers, edo, cross river all within reach for APC now, even akwa ibom governor dun endorse tinubu, he may decamp to APC very soon). The only thing that will stop Tinubu is Atiku/Obi ticket(and Tinubu will try to frustrate that ticket from happening)

you have a point. Atiku will get Northern votes while Obi will get Southern votes. What about the South South issues as you raised? Tinubu wants to keep South South to his pocket which will be a plus. Another question is that the Northerners turn is till 2031. Will they want to vote for Atiku knowing fully well that it will affect their turn?

The north does not have anything to fear once they are in power, they have the numbers. They also have one big advantage-THE SOUTH WILL NEVER SPEAK WITH ONE VOICE(especially south west and south east), so there will always a southern Crack that the north can exploit. It's almost looking like Tinubu will win 4 SS states(rivers, edo, cross river, akwa ibom) - at least by what INEC will declare. It also looks to me like whatever he will lose in the north, he can make up for it in the south south. It may turn out to be an interesting election

Tinubu is in bed with all the northerners that would support Atiku.
He is paying party loyals and also oppositions a massive amount of money.

True, but now he has name recognition all over Nigeria.
He can be a sellable candidate.
GEJ will still beat OBI anyday.
He has more votes even when he lost to Buhari.

After Buhari's eight years, it will only be fair to let the South have their full eight years.

Atiku should support a Southern president either by deputising or stepping down for him.

I also think Prof. Osinbajo will give Tinubu a run for his money if he has the proper support.

Atiku should support either Jonathan, Obi or Osinbajo.

If he decides to run, the opposition is weakened and Tinubu will still coast to victory.

By 2031, fresh faces must have emerged and if he is nowhere near the corridors of power then, either as a kingmaker or ruling party figure, he should count his losses and retire as the serial egomaniacal loser that he is.

Who are the possible southerners that can pose a real threat to Tinubu ?

Jonathan Goodluck, why ? Nigerians are tired of APC, Tinubu is here pretending to be solving problems caused by his own party. Nigerians are fed up of these scams. GEJ has name recognition. He can only serve one term at the most. This is an attractive option for a lot of interest group.

Peter Obi. Obi doesn't have the GEJ effect, he is a little bit over zealous. He needs a formidable northern candidate, someone who is a strong candidate than can win at least 3 states with minimal effort even before party structure steps in to help him. Obi has to win the whole South East and repeat his Lagos effect. Peter Obi should have been in talks with someone who can deliver this in the North.

Tinubu will be the hardest Incumbent to defeat. He is veteran politician. He has a lot of people in his pockets. Even some of the oppositions running around and making a lot of noise are in Tinubu's pockets. He is also using poverty as a weapon. Very few politicians can challenge him because they want to eat as well.

How is GEJ going to win Tinubu when it was Tinubu that kicked GEJ out of Asso Rock in 2015

The times are different, Tinubu did it with the support of the whole North.
If tinubu and GEJ stand in a free and fair election......today !
GEJ can beat Tinubu....

Of course times are very very different.

Tinubu was an ordinary person when he kicked out GEJ a sitting president, how exactly do you expect GEJ to remove Tinubu who is now a sitting president.

You may hate Tinubu all you want but always apply logic in politics because Logic and not emotions win in politics

Lets try to stop taking things personal......If i want Tinubu out its because his policies arent working
I dont hate him, i dont really care about him. If his policies were working, i would want him to stay. That also doesn't mean i like him.
