I've known Big Bolaji sice about 2008 and he has always been big. Big people also live long and as a matter of fact look more fit in old age than skinny people but that's beside the point.
May his soul rest in peace and may the Holy Spirit comfort the family in these trying times.

What killed him? What sort of brief illness kills a grown man these days? COVID-19?

Maybe he was sick, he was taken to the hospital and he died.

Some rich people think by stuffing food in their mouth it shows they are enjoying their money. Go to some amala joints, you see one person will eat 2 ogunfe, 10 assorted meat with 5 wraps of amala, or you see them consume massive plate of npobi, big eba with all sorts of proteins, omo, I look at them in disgust, they are using their money to poison themselves. Lol
Check out rich oyinbo, the gourmet food they eat, quality, it could be 7 dishes but in bite size quantity.
Another thing is alcohol, you see someone will sit down and consume 5 bottles of beer, or bottle of hennesy. Walai, stop beer and spirit for 1 year and just on that alone you will loose atleast 10kg. I did that and from 117kg, I now weigh 95! Less less red meat too.

Big Bolaji used to minister at our campus fellowship in late 90s.Very humble and dedicated minister of God,and over the years he remained committed. May God be with the family he left behind.

What of athletes that died young? What of gym instructors that never get to 50yrs? Life no balance. I knew a grandma that died @102 and she was very fat.

He once ministered at The Master’s Place Int’l Church Ogbomoso (pastorKk church ) ..so sad about this news honestly 😢

Una go just dey say rubbish. According to WHO, and well researched, life expectancy in Nigeria is 54.1 years. If you neglect your health, you die fast. The most important factor is food and not doing exercise. If you eat well, you won't get fat. Most cannot do without rice, beans, and other grains. Most eat meat too much. And who enforces good practises in good farming and security in Nigeria? Lol.

@247man, I gues you must be "fati' bom-bom" too. Go take care if your health or you will drop death before you accomplish fully your mission on earth. Dare Adeboye was obviously sick too, and may not be due to obesity, but he was sick. Obesity may not cause his death, but it is a killer. Na your die if you keep arguing. And keep drinking 3 bottles of Coca-Cola daily. Keep eating 10kg of meat daily. Keep loading up with rice, spaghetti, rounded yam. Etc. Keep eating soup filed with oil. I was at a wedding reception some years ago. And I saw this fat lady, consuming everything consumable: small chops, buns, white rice and fried pepper stew, jollof, pounded yam, and she made sure she tasted all the drinks from normal bottled water to coke, to unscrewing the wine there.

I was so much disgusted and felt like whipping her for the gluttonous show and indecency (in my view sha). And funny enough, she was seated among guys that they came together, eating like a pig

This is exactly my point, being overweight doesn’t mean it is automatically d cause of death once a fat person dies. Go and check most people who die of stroke and tell me if they are overweight. People doing carer jobs in uk will tell u of how their users are over 80 and still overweight. This ignorance is what makes Nigerians deserve d kind of leaders they have. Both political and religious.
