Not necessarily. The Southwest is not the only bloc in the South. If Tinubu wanted to move against the North, he could at least have made sure that he has the entire South in his grip. This is not the case, no thanks to nepotism, greed and covetousness. Even the Southwest is not entirely in his grip (he only won 4 out of 6 states). Attempts to sell Tinubu as the "Southern candidate" is not selling.

At the end of the day, it won't matter if they turned against Tinubu or not. Because he is a man who knows how to use power. He has done it before; and come 2027 - he will do it again.

The Northern Bloc are too smart not to support Tinubu, all the noise now is coming from few irrelevant elements from the North. They were given their 8yrs graciously, it's time to reciprocate and they know in 2031, they are coming back

Jonathan lost because he didnt get the backing from Obj when obj still had PDP in his pocket he was just fighting right from the start.......If obj had supported Jonathan he would rally his Loyalist in the North to give Jonathan another chance atleast two third while he would make sure Jonathan wins three quater of south west ...

No, the North is not finished though they will not win in their coalition against PBAT.
Those who will be at loss are those who would be against PBAT in that coalition.

The coalition will succeed only in making Atiku their candidate.
PBAT will still win his re-election.

All I want to say is that Tinubu should make peace with the North if he wants to go for second term. As for the Southeast, we will continue to be the beneficiary of the whole thing as we are not interested in their power sharing.

When someone uses the name "North" to blow empty hot smoke in promoting a mischivewious sectional Fulani/Muslim interest....it is even a further insult to the sensibilities of the other blocs in the Middle Belt who want no part in their nonsense.

But even in the assumed 2031 scenario you painted....why not forward a Christian-Christian candidate too...where a Christians from both the South and Middle belt lead too? There are Souther bloc clusters and there are middle belt bloc clusters that can also make this happen.
