Many professions in the Arm forces. Cooks, engineers, brick layers, musicians, etc

This is normal in every military. You have Christian & Islamic religious departments and officers.

You're right but you must have real battle experience as well. Those professional groups must have war front shoot and kill participation along with professional roles too.

Remember that they are military officers so they need that battle experience too for experience, promotion and competence. The chaplain in the theater of war may even quickly organize a religious rite for a dying officer at battle front while bearing his own arms and alert to kill if situation demands he kills.

Nothing new here. Like someone said above the army is a world of it's own with every department in human endeavors well covered so that officers can fully do their jobs without unnecessary mixing with civilians. What I don't like about it is that ur rank in the army will come first b4 even ur title as a priest which will only appear in brackets after ur rank which is to say that the army sort of considers any other title inferior to ur military rank. For example, the former military representative in Bonny camp, V.I of the former archbishop of Lagos Anthony Cardinal Okojie was an officer named Brig. Gen. (Very Rev. Fr.) E. F Bako
