I left Lagos for Abuja in early February. Due to my experience and peoples' complaints, i will confidently say that Lagos is safer.

Plus it depends on the area you live in whether Lagos or Abuja

You can't shield Lagos from the Massive insecurity and terrorism sweeping across the nation.

Besides, the main reason Lagos might not have caught their eye is because of the population and limited places they can easily hide, like forests.

Katsina, Delta, Kwara, Enugu, etc, were very safe and peaceful from these terrorists... But today, the story is sadly different.


The adage says that if one egg is rotten in a crate, it will only be a matter of time before others follow suit.


So, let's keep trying to separate states in terms of security in our heads... Continue in that delusion that your state of residence can't be breached.

there was a bomb blast in ikeja last two week or there about, two lives were lost and i am surprised it didnt get much attention.

These happened outside computer village. My mind skipped and i start thinking if Lagos is truly safe.

Many of the kidnappings happen on the outskirts of town. The general you're talking about was killed in keffi that's not abuja. Except if you are talking about another case that I'm unaware of.

Don't even compare public transport hazards in Abuja to lagos. You're safer in a public vehicle in Abuja than lagos with All the rituals. And all that. I'm speaking from the perspective of someone who has lived in these two cuties.

I've lived in both cities as well. I have compared the two and I believe abuja is safer. Then again I agree with you that it depends on the area that you live in. Both in Abuja and lagos. 👍👍

No wonder we have many unexplainable diseases in the country. You come add GMO join am. Village life is the purest anywhere in the world. Cities are one big jungle for you to make money and spend it on treating yourself.

Almost everyone in cities want to make money and because of that, they will go any length to make money, including killing other people. Nothing can beat nature. That's why wise people retire to the village. Pure 💯 love and food. Pure air, pure food. Village people will give you God's wonder in plants and herbs to treat you if you fall ill. They don't share this secret with you city people because of your ungodly love for money. Village people anywhere in the world have respect for nature and they will never do anything that will kill someone like them.

People are not crazy to sabotage you because they want to climb the hierarchy of artificial riches the cities have created. A big big illusion. But once you enter the city they begin to brainwash you to love money and lose your humanity and soul to the devil.

Lagos is like any big city in the world. Big cities = big problems.

oga, pack well. Which media, when million boys came up where dey not taking care of? When the badoo boys were terrorising Ikorodu and it's environ didn you hear Lagos State governor crying helplessly? The governor bought two additional helicopter for the security to wipe them out from the swamp they normally take refuge after each crime, today they are now history.no state come close to spending on security like Lagos State. It's takes the ingenuity of someone to introduce Lagos State security trust fund, what are other states doing, lamenting and pointing to fg for everything

And where are the 1 million boys today? How long did they even last? How many people saw them?

Lagos also has security challenges but it's wrong to suggest that saying it's safer than most parts of Nigeria is a creation of the "Lagos-Ibadan expressway media".

You can't separate Lagos from the tribulations and cancer spreading all over Nigeria.

Gangrene in one part of the body, if unchecked and untreated, will eventually spread and corrupt the entire system, killing the person.

There are no clear and guarded boundary separation among states... There is no strong checkpoint at the Expressway to keep away terrorists.


The only reason Lagos is not yet on their radar is either because they want to conquer the neighboring states first or they are just not yet interested.

If neighboring states become havens for terrorists, Lagos would be easy pickings.

Either way, if I were a foreign investor, I would avoid Nigeria as a whole.

Come to iyana school along LASU IBA road early in the morning around 5:30am - 6am, to know if lagos is safe
