Burna finished work at his Manchester concert this night 2 hours non-stop electrifying performance with crowd singing every word and very professional stage performance with his Outsiders band I overheard one middle aged white man saying that's the 2nd best performance he's ever seen in hundred of concerts after Eminem while pissing in the cubicle after Can't imagine Davido or WizKid holding a stadium captive for 2 hours with hit after hit with live band and a non-auto tune microphone. They will just have DJ playing CD in background and missing most of the words to catch a breath while the CD fills in. Only few confirmed niggas like Burna, Asake and Adekunke Gold can put on a professional show in Naija music scene. Burna is undoubtedly the GOAT of Naija music, his professionalism is out of this world. Shallipoppi was looking like a kid in school talent show contest when he came out, nigga could not even keep up his breath control, just missing so many spots. |

Temporaryhansel will find a way to complain about this too https://www.nairaland.com/8405306/nigerias-debt-dropped-14bn-under Nigeria’s total debt stock—covering external and domestic borrowings by the federal government, the 36 states and the FCT declined from $108.2 billion to $94.2 billion as at December 31, 2024. He further revealed that the administration has successfully cleared all verified foreign exchange backlogs of about $7 billion, while gross external reserves grew from $33.0 billion in 2023 to approximately $40.9 billion by the end of 2024. Net reserves reportedly rose even more dramatically, from $4.0 billion to $23.3 billion—an increase of over 480 percent. Nigeria’s Balance of Payments (BOP) also swung from a deficit of $3.34 billion in 2023 to a surplus of $6.83 billion in 2024, attributed to stronger trade performance and increased investor confidence. Non-oil exports climbed by 24.6% to $7.46 billion, while gas exports surged 48.3% to $8.66 billion. Ogra said portfolio investment inflows more than doubled to $13.35 billion in 2024, reflecting renewed interest in the Nigerian economy by foreign investors. “This confidence is driven by President Tinubu’s bold macroeconomic reforms,” he stated. Nigerians in the diaspora were also commended for their trust in the country, with personal remittances rising by 8.9% to $20.93 billion. Inflows via international money transfer operators reportedly grew by 43.5% to $4.73 billion. On Nigeria’s debt obligations, Ogra highlighted that the country’s International Monetary Fund (IMF) liabilities were reduced by over 67%, dropping from $2.47 billion in 2023 to $800.23 million by the end of 2024. “There have been no defaults. Nigeria under President Tinubu is repaying loans, not piling them up,” he noted. |

If a whole federal government can’t afford Band A, who can afford it? ![]() In Nigeria, your security and electricity are in your own hands. https://www.nairaland.com/8405428/terrorists-military-uniform-kill-6 Last week I was reading on this thread a funny opinion that what is happening in Benue and Plateau is due to desertification and need for people whose lands have become arid to survive. I read that opinion and shook my head because I know that is an attempt to oversimplify the issue and refuse to address the matter for what it is: INSECURITY- The buck of which stops on the President's table. Today it is now Kwara state that is being attacked by gun men disguised as military men. The earlier we all rise to accept that the Insecurity issue which started in the Northeast (Which the PDP government was kicked out for) has matured and spread to the West (Under the watchful and incompetent regime of Buhari) and now the North Central is gradually being slowly drawn into the axis of terror, the better. Something needs to give. This is the time whatever budget is being allocated to DSS and NIA (Our supposed intelligence agencies) needs to be justified. We should be seeing the heads of these agencies coming out to tell us what exactly is happening, what they have done and still doing to solve the problem and nulify future threats. |

BlueRayDick:Omo,, I saw the graphic images on fp. See as people brains and blood plaster on old asphalt road. Heard that a new terror group emerged in NC. BAT should take responsibility, the governors does not control the police, navy, airforce, or army.

OkpaNsukkaisBae:As in.... He should be having meetings with service chiefs and heads of intelligence agencies asking for results . He should be taking full responsibility and apologizing to Nigerians for failing thus far. He cannot be complaining from the bench all these days as a player, when coach do substitution bring am in na own goals he dey score |

2027 will be the year we confirm a lot of Nigerians are not as smart as they claim to be. When I say a lot of Nigerians, I mean so many people which includes self-acclaimed highly educated people, captains of industries, entrepreneurs, the corporates, the academia, religious leaders, etc. When Tinubu was campaigning, he said these words on live camera "If I don't give you constant electricity in the next four years, don't vote for me again for a second term." In his words, he said: "Whichever way, by all means necessary, you must have electricity, and you will not pay for estimated bills anymore.". These words are very straight and direct, not conditional statement. I know when 2027 comes we will see enough individuals who will make themselves available to start explaining what "constant electricity" means in CAPanese; we will have people who would twist and turn like earthworm wey kiss salt by explaining to us that "It is not possible for the FG to provide prepaid meter for over 200 million Nigerians, so it is a given that some people will remain on estimated billing, etc. Then they will convince people who have the memory of a goldfish to vote for the man that asked not to be voted for if he fails to deliver on the aforementioned campaign promise within 4 years. |
