Atiku hasn’t learnt anything from the past. His greed brought Nigeria to where it is today. First it was GEJ, his selfishness pushed him to support Buhari. He was even more daft by running for president after his brother just finished 8 years. Now he want tye South to dash him their turn. This is what killed PDP. He will fail again and push Nigeria deeper to hardship. |

PDPGuy:I share the same sentiments as you but in this Nigeria, he is the only one who has the ability to unseat this current govt. Atiku is the only candidate that will keep Tinubu awake at night |
| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by PDPGuy: 11:25pm On Apr 22, 2025 |
sleekdot:Yeah, I agree that Atiku is formidable. But if he wins in 2027, there is no way he would honor his “agreement” to rule for only one term😂 So Peter Obi should prepare to be VP for 4 (if he decides to quit the government) or 8 years. |
| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by liveLongNprospa(m): 11:40pm On Apr 22, 2025 |
PDPGuy:What makes atiku formidable? Is it the non existent pdp structure? All the support of last time and he got a mere 500k votes. Now he has lost even more. PDP is dead.. So what really is atiku bringing to the table? |
| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by sleekdot(m): 12:32am On Apr 23, 2025 |
PDPGuy:Of course he wont honor any 4yr rule. If anyone still wants to unseat Tinubu the pathway still goes through Atiku. Either that or watch Tinubu spend his 8yrs 2023 was the best time to take out APC and the opposition messed it up |

OasisX:My brother, I do not blame any.politicoan who decamps to another party in this dispensation. Asiwaju has achieved complete state capture. |
| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by semid4lyfe(m): 1:38pm On Apr 23, 2025 |
BlueRayDick:It'd be foolish for the police to enforce the directive cos it's discriminatory and unconstitutional. Moreover, I thought policemen only take orders from the IG and superior officers in the command chain of the force. Na this kain case NBA suppose jump on, and issue press release to rebuke the governor but they're too busy justifying not refunding the N300m given to them by Fubara. |
| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by OasisX: 1:39pm On Apr 23, 2025 |
semid4lyfe: ![]() .....not yet, jez prepping at the moment. Wole Oke, a very strong PDP Leader in Osun East and HoR Member just resigned from the party. LOL! |
| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by larride(m): 1:54pm On Apr 23, 2025 |
semid4lyfe:Total state capture of the uselessness of PDP as a party. The National body of the party had factionalized the party so much that any candidate that stand election under them might be sacked by the court. The arrogance of the Northern PDP politicians and Atiku to field a Northern after 8yrs of Northern is what has destroyed the PDP and effectively the opposition. It is still the same arrogance the Northern politicians are still using to pontificate against 2027. |
| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by BlueRayDick: 1:57pm On Apr 23, 2025 |
semid4lyfe:Just dey play! ![]() Do u know how many unconstitutional acts the Nigerian police carryout on a daily basis? Do u know that arresting people for "wandering" is unconstitutional and yet millions of Nigerians including myself have been arrested for same? NBA's press release will not stop Nigeria police from arresting anybody with dada. Kano Hisbah wey no even get gun dey shave people head steady for growing their hair . Now imagine Nigerian police with gun.

OasisX:It's foolhardy for a politician to play politics with principles and be loyal to his party at his own detriment. Make I yarn you the story of an uncle. After finishing his Masters in Education Administration from UNILAG with a distinction, popsy wanted him to do his PhD but he refused saying he wanted to go back home to do politics. I no too blame am sha, things were difficult and na popsy struggle push am through school. So he went back home, got into the lumbering business and did local politics too. After years of working, mobilizing, organizing and utilizing his resources for PDP in our community and Local Government, he got rewarded by Agagu who appointed him as one of the commissioners of OSOPADEC in the state. (OSOPADEC = Ondo State Oil Minerals Producing Areas Development Commission) Hin never even stay 3 months in office, na hin Supreme Court overturn Agagu's election and declared Mimiko of Labour Party as the validly elected governor. Mimiko entered, removed all Agagu's appointees including my uncle. My uncle, a principled, loyal and old-fashioned man held on to his principles and refused to decamp when everybody under him and those he worked with were decamping to Labour party. In his words, "I brought, started and formed PDP in our LG and I would never decamp to another party". Eventually, he dusted his certificates and picked up a job as a Secondary School Principal. He combined his salary as principal with the little money he made from his short stint in government, lumbering business and managed to build a 5 bedroom bungalow in Okitipupa as well as educate his kids. All those guys wey work with am but decamped to Labour Party then got appointments from Mimiko and have done very well for themselves and their families. Many of them have built multiple properties, established lucrative businesses and generally consolidated their wealth. My uncle? Still in Okitipupa, doing backyard farming and living off a monthly stipend from his daughter in the UK. |

Those core North votes tend to coalesce around the sentiments of its leaders, and as long as Peter Obi is running BAT would still need their blessing. Peter Obi remains a major force in the South and Middle-Belt states and it doesn't matter whether BAT converts all the governors in these states to APC. As long as the people of the Southern and Middle-Belt states are prepared to come out to vote en-masse, and are ready to stand behind their votes, BAT stands no chance. The message now should be militant defense of votes during and post-election. |
