Just negodu where we are now!
When you complain about how badly Nigeria economy has been doing for the past 10 years, they'll say that you're the enemy of Nigeria, some would tell you how we don't spend US dollars in Nigeria they'll even tell you that Nigerians on social media have been programmed to hate their country.
E go beta one day one day.

I think the previous administration brought us to where we are now. Slow and steady, we will reclaim our position as the giant of Africa.

Nigeria projected GDP is even less than the touted Lagos GDP. Dem say Lagos GDfee na $259b, but naija rebased GDP dey projected to be less than $200b.

Wondafu! Lol

Anyway, the GDP of Nigeria won't be less than 200b, even with the worthless fools we have in power. My projection is it'll be in the region of $250b, the so called GDP of Lagos.

Yea. Buhari and his 40 men wrecked the economy. But nothing spoil. Jagaban is capable. It will definitely be difficult at first but surely it will get better.

Yes Nigeria has large economy with nothing to show for it. All the projects that the ministers are doing, doesn't reflect in the citizens life. Our huge money are in the hands of a few people!

Still crying and wailing on useless figures.

What was Nigeria producing in 2015 to have a 400 billion economy? 98 percent was oil, and the price of oil was much higher then.
you are an emotional manipulator. You are asking what the nation produced to have that figure? What are they not producing to shrink the figures by over 200%?

Everything the APC touches turns to ashes, starting from the Daura fraud to the present jonzer

They wrecked the economy, wrecked security, wrecked forex, wrecked Nigeria's unity, wrecked everything 'wreckable'

APC is a bull in the China shop of Nigeria's economy and well being. The foundation of that party is eerily evil.

The analysis said the 2025 is projected, that is the rankings is forecasting based on some parameters known to them. I don’t think we need to take this report serious

But Tinubu and his government will tell you that all is well
The same thing APC has been telling smart Lagosians for decades of heavy tax burden without commensurate civil service jobs to provide basic services, utilities and amenities.

If they can sink Lagos into a messed up waterless slum, then why should we be surprised by this new low for our country?

A 45-year-old resident and father of three, Mr.Fatai Lamide told PUNCH HealthWise that no building in the community has toilet facilities.

The Oyo State-born mechanic said, “We don’t have toilet in this area, including our compound. This canal that you see serves as toilet to all of us living in this area. We defecate inside nylon and throw it inside the canal.

“For people that don’t want to use nylon, they have a special bucket that they use after which they pour it inside the canal too.

The lack of state-owned pipe-borne water in the homes of Lagos residents has continued to be a source of concern, a non-profit group, Corporate Accountability and Public Advocacy Africa (CAPPA) has said.

At a press event to mark this year’s World Water Day, the group said its monitoring team’s visit to state-owned waterworks showed that most of them are not operational.

The group said the waterworks it visited include the ones at Maryland, Mushin, Ikorodu, Obalende, Agbowa, Onikan, Ikoyi, and Amuwo Odofin.

Only the one in Ikoyi is producing water, according to CAPPA.

PDP has little conscience, APC is not born with conscience at all. Even though same people are migrating from one party to the other, yet one party is better than the other. It's like if all Real Madrid players migrate to Arsenal, it still wouldn't make Arsenal win the UCL. I

Even terrible T-Pain’s finance minister knows the difference.

thisweekng:
The Minister of Finance and Coordinating Minister of the Economy Chief Olawale Edun has said the last time Nigeria’s economy looked stable was about a decade ago.

He made this statement during his maiden press conference as Minister of Finance where he outlined President Bola Tinubu’s vision, agenda and strategy for the economy.

He said, “I think as we all know, we are not where we should be. The economy is barely growing above the rate of population growth.

“But it was not always so, and I think in trying to look at the way forward, if we now have a situation of slow growth, double-digit inflation, weak/depreciating exchange rate, as well as security concerns that are resulting in an economy that is not growing and not taking Nigerians out of poverty.

“If we think back to the last time when the economy was stable- when it was growing, when inflation was low, and the interest rate was affordable, that period was about a decade ago. Growth was about 6% in 2013 and 2014.”

These are the useless fellas that wants to build a trillion naira economy who rather have ended up wrecking a thriving economy from $494.31 billion in 2015 to $188.27 billion in 2025 over a 10 years gap.

Even SA seating atop today is still finding it to beat Nigeria's record of old though they have diversify their economy. Meanwhile, it is the irony back here. APC shrank not only the economy, but as well as the people living in Nigeria.
No hazzle. The Nigerian position changed as a result of devaluation. When you devalue all your figures come down in the short term. It doesn't affect your capacity. When the gains start rolling in you take back and surpass your position.

For example let president Trump's madness run for one year and you will see those positions change. For Nigeria we have prepared ourselves for external shocks ahead of the present events. Where would we have gotten the money to subsidize the petroleum products and exchange rate with reduced income coming from oil if we had continued the old order?

@Akpakomiza2

And to think this fellow with handle above was engaging in voodoo economics on this platform by reeling out the illusionary wonders of APC government of Tinubu.

The macroeconomy policy of Tinubu's government isn't engendering inclusive growth. Tinubu's scorecard is very abysmal. Security: zero, Economy: Zero, Enthronement of democratic ethos: zero. Ensuring inclusivity in a diverse country like Nigeria: zero.

The man just became president just for the optics and the razzmatazz the offices confers on the occupant.
