Still crying and wailing on useless figures.

What was Nigeria producing in 2015 to have a 400 billion economy? 98 percent was oil, and the price of oil was much higher then.
It’s mostly because of the currency floating. If Naira were to be continuously recklessly backed by CBN, and 1 USD is approx 600 Naira, then the GDP would have almost been times 3, which have been clear number 1 for Nigeria.

Everything is on the high side now...

Nothing to worry about ,it is caused mainly by devaluation of currency,

Nigeria projected GDP is even less than the touted Lagos GDP. Dem say Lagos GDfee na $259b, but naija rebased GDP dey projected to be less than $200b.

Wondafu! Lol

Anyway, the GDP of Nigeria won't be less than 200b, even with the worthless fools we have in power. My projection is it'll be in the region of $250b, the so called GDP of Lagos.
Lagos gdp na scam
Move around lagos you will know shlt hole is overhyped

@Akpakomiza2

And to think this fellow with handle above was engaging in voodoo economics on this platform by reeling out the illusionary wonders of APC government of Tinubu.

The macroeconomy policy of Tinubu's government isn't engendering inclusive growth. Tinubu's scorecard is very abysmal. Security: zero, Economy: Zero, Enthronement of democratic ethos: zero. Ensuring inclusivity in a diverse country like Nigeria: zero.

The man just became president just for the optics and the razzmatazz the offices confers on the occupant.
The latest Fitch, imf and Jp Morgan ratings rated Tinubu well economically. The government is tackling insecurity far better than buhari. Tinubu has appointed and spread his appointments more than buhari. Tinubu is the most democratic president since 1999 except yaradua

You have started again. The most democratic that declared emergency rule and suspended a sitting governor even when the constitution doesn't confer such power on him. The most democratic president that is sowing discord and division in opposition parties in Nigeria.

If Jonathan had toed the same path he is deploying, APC would not have won the Presidential election in 2015. The same President that partook in protest but under his administration, he is quick at deploying police to quell street protest.

Lies...We had a larger FDI...Companies were producing and making making profits but this time Companies are closing shops and leaving town. Our currency has been devalued. We have more unemployed citizens, The economy has shrunk and our purchasing power is next to nothing. Imagine CFA having more value than naira. APC killed Nigeria.

It's not good to advertise your ignorance

GDP has nothing to do with oil price in the first place and more importantly, oil is not the biggest contributor to our GDP. Our GDP has always been services and agriculture based.

Oil contributes less than 10% to our GDP

Did obj not suspend two governors? Even Gej declared emergency. The emergency act of 1962 grants him power to suspend a governor sir.. every president deploys security to quell protests sir so this point is useless.

Gej recognized an illegal speaker who had 12 members against the one with 18 members in Ogun because he feared Gbenga Daniels. Under Gej, we had illegal impeachments of Adamawa gov and deputies of Ondo and Kogi. Your remember the chairman of governors forum where Gej recognized Jang who had lesser governors against Amechi? Should I go on? How many have you seen under Tinubu

APC is like Cancer...

The more they hold on to government, the more damage they cause.

And just like Cancer, they spread so fast with lies and deceit, they are difficult to get rid off because they don't want to lose power.

What a shame... It's not the 4th position... It's the drastic drop from ove $400bn to less than $200bn. More than halved the economy. APC and this regime is truly a disaster.
