Good day professionals in the house,

I recently changed my car AC compressor. After a while, I discovered that my battery drains and after careful observation, we discovered that AC pipes freeze even when the AC is not on. Also while driving, cooling air will be coming out from the AC vents when the AC is not turned on.
Once you put a new battery and on putting the battery head, there will be a crack sound from the compressor.

I have involved the AC guy, he has done what he knows how to do, including buying a new relay, but the problem persists. Now he is telling me I need to buy and change something in the compressor.

Please, help me with professional advice go enable me get out of this mess.

U get leakage,either from the AC pipes or the compressor. Normally the ac with radiator were bypassed and connected directly, however ypur own diff. Cos even with the compressor pulleys rolling continuously, it's a miracle that the AC is on,but the console is showing its off. Alaye better go back to the useless AC man with rewire and tell them to disarm the compressor and reinstall,and also change the pipes. They are leaking,also the thermostat is bad,the manual thermostat..

What is the year of your car? This problem is likely electrical. Let the 'rewire' remove the ac relay completely and see if the compressor still stays always energized. We can take it from there.
