Let the governor show his son’s hairstyles first! Nigeria is always living on a false narrative! The video is not only disgusting, it is constitutionally offensive and a direct affront to citizens rights in that state. And these security agencies would use this as a means to harass and milk the people dry! Nigeria is a crime scene!! |

Kobicove:Thank God reasonable and rational human beings still remain in this forum. During COVID 19 churches and mosques and club house closed down, it's as a result of security situation then. The security situation would determine what authorities would enforce in certain part of the country or state, but for the professors on nairaland, they must always think like a perfect man, yet nothing to show for their extra-genius in critical thinking. |

Every rational human being knows the correlation between Crime and unemployment except Nigerian politicians and their supporters! How a group of educated people can accept this as sensible is surprising! We would soon see the fall out of all those farmers chased from their farms, Fiscus105: |

gabbytabby:It's all the fear of Fulani, they would rather punish their children than face the culprits, they know herders don sport dreadlocks, if they did they would NEVER pass that law Reminds me of Sunday Jackson that killed a herder in self defense and was still sentenced to death, Life in the Slave Coast is weird! |

StaffofOrayan:I can only see ranting upon ranting, for the decision the state govt took, you haven't said a single point to proof, it's irrational. This man has been Gov for two years now and never, took decision to harass anyone, tribe or religion,......now that he took this decision, a rational human beings, would think twice, ........ there is more to it than what he is seeing on the surface, since you arent privileged to see the security report. But trust Naija teenagers, you guys must rant and attack every policy just to proof a baseless point. You guys always critical of female for not be able to contribute outside relationship posts, but they are still better than many of you that always argue off point, irrationally and illogically.

I can't even blame the governor...! These people have no single leadership IQ. That's why the Holy Bible warned against the Blind leading the blind. From LGA to Aso Rock... This is exactly why this nation is retrogressing at such an alarming rate. You have incompetent, clueless and corrupt people doing what they have no business doing: Leadership. |

Fiscus105:People like Wole Soyinka are lucky they were born when the British were still very much in Nigeria, if not the semi illiterates that call themselves leaders would have locked him up for sporting an Afro! The governor is experienced in making hypocrites happy, let him build ONE single factory in Nigeria state then we take him seriously |

I’m recommending 6 months rehabilitation for that governor at a good psychological center. This will enable him think more about how to reduce poverty and achieve 24-hour electricity. |

Nairaland has reverted to 2005 in quality. I am impressed. The opinions I’ve read today on the front page have been intellectual. Did Seun start paying writers? Why wasn’t the cleanse activated years ago? Well, better late than never. Lessons will be learned either way. The thing I will never understand about African men in general — I hardly see women discriminate based on hairstyles — is they don’t know how their bias was formed. White men cut our hair out of envy. They forced short hair to become the norm as a way to make us more homogeneous thus easier to control. This continued for decades until our people saw it as normal. When the whites left (sixty-five years ago), it was too late to change. Enough generations had imbibed the view that short hair was the best grooming practice. It was hard to remove. Any other hair length was a sign of sloth and ill-character. The terrorists and criminals I’ve seen in police reports sport Afros (from hiding out of public view), low cuts or shave their hair bald. What it means is hair doesn’t define the individual, personality does. A person can have dreadlocks, a skin cut, braids or what-have-you — if he decides to become a doctor, he will excel in the required field. |

Pierocash:I agree with you! But Nigeria doesn't have the worst set of leaders. How many countries have you lived? Go to all those South American countries, go to places like Venezuela, Guatemala, Honduras etc you will be glad that you are a Nigerian! You people should stop assuming that your country is the worst. |

Pierocash:na They always reasoned like cows They just now have power to act on the cow reason Nigeria has the worse set of leaders compared to other countries. One of the criteria to be an elected official in Nigeria is to be a clown. Country filled with retrogressive leaderstoh now all yourself why voters have chosen that criteria |
