Tokunbo Abiru actually resigned from Polaris bank to contest for Lagos East senatorial district bye election after Senator Osinowo(pepperito) died during Covid-19.

I know say politics is lucrative , but I just dey reason say maybe the boy himself actually prefer the corporate world but daddy wants him to follow in his footsteps at all cost.
Its surely harder in private sector, You kill what you eat. Appraisal, chasing client, meeting client deadline etc vs Just getting allocation or in Senate just say Aye or No

You go don see that our Ibadan North East PDP rep, wey no fit make complete statement in House. How will he fare in private corporate

Even Partners, Bank ED, Captain of industries will leave their corporate job to govt

Like I predicted, Davido and Wizkid are 1st and 2nd, Laho is 3rd.

Burna boy can never outperform Davido and Wizkid in Nigeria, Burna arena is outside Nigeria

Politics is the Nigerian dream. Even if na Councillor, MD fit resign
There are people who will still frown at the idea irrespective of the opportunities ( looting ) that abounds. I have rejected two appointments this year because I can’t imagine myself doing yes sir yes sir. To survive in the Nigerian political space you must act like a slave, major politicians want you to asslick their ass and treat them like gods always, and I can never do that. They will want to dictate everything about your life for you. Money truly isn’t everything.

Abiru was a bank ED and left for Senate

These are men at the pinnacle of private sector careers and left for politics

Small Terrorism Aside. Abubakar Shekau is actually a Great War General. No formal Training yet has captured Huge amounts of Land. In the last 10yrs He has Won Several Battles against the Nigerian army. Forget the Little Genocides he commits, Let’s admire his Military Genius. 😮‍💨✌🏾

This is what you sound like when praising tinubu for his politics as against his policies

So is Shannon Sharpe finally done for after leaving ESPN in the middle of that alleged rape case with the snow bunny? I'm not a big fan of some of those American spots but I just like the guy's shows and the memes he's used in.

Nigerian companies will employ u even if na the worst UK university u graduate from, so he doesn't actually need his father's name to get a job in any top Nigerian company. His stint at PWC is more of an internship, he probably chose to portray it like it was a regular employment just to lure his prospective employers.

What I am more concerned with is the fact that he actually performed well on the Job at Providus bank that Parallex employ him and made him head to lead a team which he has also been doing.

I may not be a fan of his papa but I don't think Nepo got the boy where he currently is; the boy sef dey try for himself
No disrespect to what the young man has achieved; however, getting 4 promotions in 4 years at any Nigerian bank goes beyond individual performance and leans more toward connections. He might be good at his job, but there’s no doubt he didn’t get those promotions without his father's direct or indirect influence. Plus, the fact that he exceeded sales and profit targets in less than a year screams government deposits and transactions.

Conclusion: na him papa make am possible

I can never do Nigerian politics. You must not make 100b before you consider yourself successful. I'm contended with where I am right now.

Yup, ESPN decided to move on from him but out of respect allowed him to present it like he is the one choosing to move on. Now ESPN has moved on from him, he most likely will not get that $100M contract for his podcast and may lose the case. I expect more women to start coming out...Make baba just file for bankruptcy at this point.

One thing this incident has exposed, at least to me, is that UnC isn't exactly as sharp (pun intended) and smart or to the level I previously accorded him. He has made several rookie errors in managing this situation.

This is the same guy who few months ago livestreamed a sex session involving a different woman on IG and claimed he was hacked. Before he joined ESPN, FOX settled a female employee because of this same cat. Playing the race card was a weak and ill advised move which made things worse. Also, offering $10M early on to silence her was the wrong move, especially considering the timing. He panicked because of the $100M podcast contract he was about to sign.

He should have addressed the issue head on with confidence. From text messages, he released, it reads like this is truly a shakeup as their interactions were consensual, until I see otherwise. He should have dared her to go to court, especially if his evidence supports his claim. See what the GOAT Jigga did with Buzbee when he dared the same thing. After the court dismissed the case, Jigga sued Buzbee for defamation because he was 1000% sure he was innocent.

Buzbee is notorious for cases like these but it looks like he would get paid this time around. I don't know what is wrong with these guys. You have all the money in the world but na OF chick wen price 25K per cheek you decide to mess with? Man was thinking with his tool until she wanted to have his child and baba decline.

Men, I take God beg una, stop thinking with your tool.

A marketer that always overachieve his or her target can get promoted 4 times in 4 years .

I’ve met few bankers who get steady promotion for overachieving their targets year-in year-out.

I can’t speak for the boy whether his father has influenced his career progression or not, but I’ve seen people without any political father figure moving upwards at the same pace he’s doing .
