Absolutely agree — with current inflation and cost of living, the minimum wage in Nigeria should be ₦150,000 at the very least. Anything less is economic gaslighting. Workers deserve dignity, not survival math. |

Hehehe. Another lamba by labour union. They are about to cash out again. When the had the upper hand to make things better for workers, they chickened out. A labour leader that can't stand his ground will always be rediculled . The TUC guy and labour guy are clown. They blow hot in the morning, then cold in the evening. |

People have been saying Tinubu is a failure. I always disagree with this. He showed from the onset he was going to run a government that will favor the elites and he is doing exactly that. Withdraw everything that benefits the masses and channel them to the elites. |

Let them make the minimum wage ₦300,000 if they like, inflation's mouth is already wide open to swallow it. You cannot make a Fulani man NSA and expect him to stop his kinsmen from unliving indigenous people and taking over their ancestral lands. |

It's all part of the renewed hope agenda. Wetin Nigerians care about na party politics, economy no concern them. Imagine even the FG is running away from BandA, but want teacher collecting 30k per month to pay for bandA... Yet this same hungry tattered teacher will be shouting party politics.. |

Even the so-called 70k minimum wage had very insignificant impact on the salaries of workers. Basically no difference from what they earned prior to the new minimum wage. Very deceitful government. |

There's no money to pay them better. They better learn to be contented. Tinubu met a bankrupt economy. Buhari had borrowed so much money that servicing the debt was eating up 97% of government revenue. Imagine using 97% of your salary to service your debt? Because Buhari was fiscally irresponsible, Nigeria couldn't get foreign loans. Buhari borrowed a massive $30bn in 8 years. The entire foreign debt when her assumed office was $10bn. That was the foreign debt. GHe also borrowed lots of money locslly. It was so bad that the CBN printed money to lend to the government. |

The fight for civil servants and general public welfare should be the paramount business of NLC and not fighting to take over structure of a political party. NLC is expected to remain apolitical. |

Noisemaking Labour Congress You make noise, they still increase what they want to increase and nothing will happen. Before, even 1 kobo increase in fuel prices and shutdown... Now fuel increase is commonplace... And decrease. Tariff only goes up... Scrap yourselves |
