The False Narrative Of North/South Politics That Igbos Should Not Fall For by RenoOkriTheGoat(op): 12:03pm On Apr 26, 2025
I've noticed that whenever elections are drawing close, these propagandists make it look like the country is divided into two sections - North and South. In essence, there's nothing like that. When Tinubu was campaigning in 2022/2023, he made it look like it was southwest, southeast and south-south against the north. Immediately he grabbed power, he made it obvious that south-south and southeast are on their own, that it is all about the southwest.

Same thing is about to play out again. The Igbos and the south-south should stay at alert. There's nothing like North and South. We only have different regions, and the tussle is between Southwest and North. The south-south and the southeast should not allow themselves to be drawn into a Yoruba fight with the north. They should be wiser now, knowing fully well that Tinubu is a deceptive, corrupt and incompetent fellow.

There's nothing like south in Nigeria. It's southeast, south-south, and southwest. Make nobody try deceive you. Use your brain.
Re: The False Narrative Of North/South Politics That Igbos Should Not Fall For by richiemcgold:
When we talk about the South, the real deals are only the SouthWest and SouthSouth. Politically, SouthEast is inconsequential in the grand scheme of things. No serious presidential candidate takes a dot in a circle serious. They lack both the figures and the influence to make any candidate a president.

BTW, my opinion is valid 💯! All those quoting my comment below are hypocrites. They are free to go to hell if they don't like it. I don't care. grin

Anyone doubting that is just being mischievous.

u Igbos ain't telling yourselves the truth, as it is now south south is already in bed with APC meaning in d south we already have a south west n south south alliance.

So as it goes now, 2031 politicking have just started. With the options before the north now and how PDP have been deserted many politicians in the north will prefer to support tinubu to finish his 8 years knowing fully well that he can't run for 3rd term.

The north will pick tinubu a million times over obi, that's sancrosanct

Now to 2031, any political savvy person will know it's d north that will take over so at this point a southerner will emerge as VP.

As it stands now, the south south will have to produce d VP of Tinubu wins.

Like seriously if u remove emotions from politics it's very easy to read

Tinubu and his worshippers already know the political tsunami coming .. and they’re flooding social media with propaganda.. hahahahahaha..

Reality go dawn..

2026… is here already

Their measure fear is that opposition are keeping their cars close to chest .. while they brag out all their plans ..

Let APC first conduct a convention and elect their party leaders

Power to the people

The politicians are all being selfish and won't want to loss their grip on the common wealth of the eastern region.
Majority of the people will prefer to stand on their own.
The situation we all found ourselves today is as a result of the actions of the politicians.

Guy pls relax, let's leave this matter. I don't have time for any ignorant person doubting the wealth of southeastern region but want to continue chopping oil money.
Any day your region says they are ready to stand alone the whole southeastern region will jubilate and won't interfere with you guys.
So that should tell you that the Southeastern are very comfortable and wealthy. So chill.

The security forces should go after those criminals causing crisis in south east.
Even if it's palm oil, it's still revenue.
