Only God knows how much someone like Ooni spends on a monthly basis.

When I think of the monthly expenses of my modest self, Ooni's monthly expenses will be mouth watering. How does he cope huh Each wife probably needs N5m or more per month in maintenance.

I don't think the amount he gets from the State/local government monthly can cover 20% of what he spends.

Rolls Royces, Private jets, Helicopters, best hotels, entourage, high-maintenance wives, best schools for children etc

To be Ooni no be small thing o.
Any HOUSE wey get 7DOORS, u sup know say na PALACE?MANSION na... how much come be 5M monthly? governors and co do run them account oo.... those seeking for chieftancy TITLES nko?

Still, you overestimated it. Ko to 100m.

The nonsense wrangling being amplified by YouTubers as if it is a serious thing between Ọọni and Alaafin should be laid to rest finally.

Let the two of them - Ọọni and Alaafin call for a meeting of Yoruba kings same day and let us see which is regarded as their leader.

The issue will just die a natural death. I have not read in any history books when Alaafin ruled over Ekiti, Ijebu, ijesha, Ẹgba, Awori, Ọwọ, Okuns. Oranmiyan extended the reach of yorubaland as a warlord, but not a ruler over yorubaland. Ibadan wanted to achieve this but checkmated be Ekitis in a sixteen year war.

Before the aggressiveness of Ibadan warlords, Yoruba people were living together in harmony. Ibadan broke the covenant of brethren and turned against their brothers.

Ibadan itself is not absolutely Oyo in composition but a conglomerate of dissidents from Oyo, Ekiti, ofà, Ogbomosho and others, who knows whether they even have Hausa and Fúlànís among them?

Great king.

See what insecurity have caused in Nigeria; elites now prefer to risk traveling by highly unsafe chopper than use their super safe luxury car convoys, yet some people want the failure to continue in 2027 for no good reason aside to shalaye that their ethnic divide is superior than others angry
... there are Igbos, Kanuris, Hausas, Tiv, Itsekiris etc people who want the failure to continue in 2027.

The politicians (united by occult/satanism & money) love people who think like you do, you're the engine oil that keeps the satanic machine rolling !!

Rather than focus on APC cult hijacked INEC & Judiciary that has made regime change by ballot box impossible, you're focused a futile ethnic battle -by 2027 you'd understand why some politician from your neck of the wood decamped to the APC cult !!

That's because there is no better alternative at the moment.

Let them rather discuss how the Yorubas will protect themselves in the face of the impending alien invasion, rather than flaunting inordinate wealth and affluence.

is that what he was doing before he became ooni?

Why is a plot being sold for 100m in Akure?
He worked to develop the landscape and the land adds value on monthly basis. If it's possible to develop land in Ajah, Banana Island etc to add so much value, I see no reason for the replication in other areas. The young king is a guru when it comes to real estate development. When he initially said he would develop the area that it will be worth hundred million a plot, I personally berated him. Now every single plot I that estate is almost sold out at that price. When it comes to real estate business, give it to him.

Ooni is a real estate mogul, he's so rich himself
There are lots of money made from farming around Ife and other towns around Ife (with appointed lesser Kings) under the Ooni that remit percentages that goes to the palace. I am talking in the 100 million a year in revenue. All these were set up under Ooni Sijuade. I was close to the last Ooni.

There are gold mining operations by Chinese companies too. Some royalties also goes to the palace.

It's delulu to think he is spending his personal money.

The Oonis are usually wealthy, reason the gods do not pick a man still struggling with his finances
Lol. This is not true.
The throne itself makes people wealthy. That's why people try to influence the kingmakers with money and all sorts to attain those throne.
The one ifa really chose without financial influence is the recent one from at Oyo. He is an average man from Canada unlike the extremely wealthy ones that the Oyo mesi chose.

Come back in 2 or 3 years, the current Alaafin would become extremely wealthy too.

He is not poor, plus he's domiciled abroad. He doesn't qualify as an ordinary man. Even the Ooni was abroad before he was crowned.

I am not saying he is not rich or wealthy, but he wasn't a billionaire before becoming an Ooni. He was basically working for his elder brother, the one that is the billionaire and extremely rich.
