clevermugu:bros what i am telling you Is that even if the battery is already in Nigeria, if as a seller you tell Nigerians that you have 2 options... That you have hithium for 1.8M....but its pay and wait 3 months.... And option 2 you have EVE for 2.2m pay and pick up now...... You will see that hithium go sell like fire... How many people shop for their whole system at once? Most people buy inverter first.... After some months they come buy battery.... Even as they buy the battery sef na after a week they see money buy breakers and cables.... They begin use am with nepa.... Months later money for panels come enter.... Small small they add second battery.... |

swagifted:You are right concerning customers choices based on funds, The truth is the average consumer doesn't care about those big names Eve, hithium, Rept etc, as far as the product is affordable and does what it intends to do , He or she is fine. We need more genuine, trusted sellers/manufacturers whether foreign or locally for competitive pricing. this is advantageous in the long run for we consumers, lower cost. Coke, Pepsi, Fanta are products that serve similar purpose, we shouldn't expect Coke to start tasting like Pepsi. Let he who drink pepsi bẹ contented as far it's real Pepsi, you dey drink,.....don't let us start throwing Pepsi under the bus because it doesn't taste exactly like Coke, likewise vice versa For me, we win in Life by contentment, you might be richer and using a better product than me yet am happier because have learnt to harness the power of contentment. |

Bro, you can book deriy battery with 50 percent down payment and pick up the battery when it arrives Nigeria.... At no extra interest....i referred my friend and thats how he got it... Gave him more time to hustle the remaining money... Even the 40 batteries i want now... She say i just need to pay only 3 percent and should pay the rest when it arrives Nigeria...I don't think i will say no if somebody in Nigeria offers me something similar HeavenlyBang: |

swagifted:Spot on. I don't really understand some of the agenda here. One say na just 200k difference. How much is minimum wage? Then all the talk about Hithium and Eve and whatnot. Lmao, even Cworth's obvious Grade B batteries are an excellent deal for plenty of people. 180k for Cworth Grade B vs 300k for Powmr Grade A is a very easy choice for most people. |

HeavenlyBang:Bros ,as in you get it shey! We are after cheaper solar alternatives.Shikena!.People are just something else.Someone gave us cheaper and quality alternatives people are exhibiting hate up and down.Who here will sell 25.6v 2.5kw for #384k? Yet that's Deriy's price. In fact I got mine for #358,500 before the dollar rate moved and they had to do price adjustment. And its doing great.J also have Valto's 2.5kw ,doing great also. The aim is let's get cheaper alternatives and everyone can make their choice. |

HeavenlyBang:My brother don't mind our people.Like @ dollarnaira will say, solar journey na individual journey. Budget based on your requirements and pocket. |
| Re: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by HeavenlyBang(m): 3:04pm On Apr 26, 2025 |
omotoda:People find that so hard to understand. The cheaper the better, there's a product for everyone. You can buy Grade B if it's what your budget allows. You can also buy the expensive batteries from SRNE and Growatt if that's what you want. It's a free market, and the more options we have the better it is for everyone. A year ago when I was building my system the cheapest 2.5kwh battery on the market was 600k. Today you can find a 2.5kwh battery for under 400k like you said. That's what we want. Cheaper options to fit everyone's budget. The price to performance ratio must make sense, and those buying cheaper models know the compromises to expect. Nothing wrong with that. |

dayjavoo:Saying you're on Budget, without stating a range means nothing because na where you Maximum end, another person Maximum start. In other words, Your Maximum is Less than someOne else Minimum. Now to respond blindly to your comment, Regards the appliances and devices you listed, excluding the Fridge, a Tokunbo UPS (Costs less than 15,000 naira), 2pcs of 300 Watts Solar panels, 1 or 2 pcs of 12volts 200Ah Tubular / Lithium battery. if you can't source for quality Lithium batteries, please respect yourself and buy Tubular or Normal Deep cell battery. You could even buy a Used battery sef and it would serve you, so long you don't buy rubbish. Add a New / Used charge controller. PWM should be Okay here. As for cable, Normal NEPA cable I often speak about is enough. |

Thank you for your response. I'm looking to spend as little as possible to ensure continuous power for wifi, a DC fan, charging of mobile devices and maybe light bulbs. I would like for the inverter to be able to power a 55 inch smart tv or a Hisense fridge (150w and 90w) respectively. Not for active use but just in case either of those need to be used on the backup. What are my options bassdow: |

Iinnov8:I bought the 24v of this red beast....I mistakenly switched on my 1hp surface pumping machine and it started pumping, it was moment later I realised that I was on inverter....I pumped water that served till the next day sha....... The inverter is highly recommended.... Don't be deceived by the small size.... It pure sine wave output. Those who recommended the powermr charge controller and the powermr 1280 lifepo4 battery put me on the right part |
