Good question - Tinubu should send a bill to the national assembly to kick off the restructuring process. That's exactly what I will appreciate. You cannot deliberately keep people poor and keep using bags of rice to buy their votes every 4 years. Is that how Americans and Chinese became the world leaders?

Even people depend on some relief from the government in other countries like food stamp and food banks.

Nothing wrong in government subsidizing stuffs. Inflation is an international phenomenon currently as many country are battling it.

If Trump is selling subsidized food today, lot of Americans will swamp and buy.

The Last amount I spent purchasing Rice few years ago in Nigeria was #8k per 50kg.
If you call 40k Cheap that means it would have been more than #70k
