Build like ten units of three bedroom flats for letting out to safeguard your money and be using any remaining change to trade. You can learn how to trade anything from clothes to foodstuff to airtime and etc. You should be OK that way

A good friend of mine always states that Mr Time is always the best friend to any investment opportunity available because it shows people whether they took good, bad or terrible investment decisions.

Anyone who wants you to invest your funds without providing any form of insurance cover for the investment does not have to your best interest at heart.

With NGN150 Million, you shouldn't be looking for any fast paced or risky investments at all. A NGN money market mutual fund gives you at least 20% per annum while a USD eurobond mutual fund will give around 5% to 9% per annum.

Another aspect of investment you must also consider is the cost of reinvestment from the dividends or proceeds of the cash flow you realise as well as the ease of entry and exit (especially emergency exits if there is an urgent need).

Have you ever asked why I posted this? It’s because I crave more. I mean More ideas. More suggestions. More angles. More perspectives. More insights. More viewpoints. More possibilities. More depth. I want more & more .

I’m the kind of person who’s all about building. Taking risks. Pushing limits. I want to create something that can explode in value. Think about the big players….. Dangote, Otedola, the ones who changed the game. They didn’t get to where they are by playing it safe. They built empires, created industries, and took bold steps to make it happen.

That’s the kind of energy I’m trying to tap into. I want to build something that can change my life, make a real impact, and leave a lasting legacy.

But at the same time… please don’t get me wrong o! I still believe that the “slow and steady” approach is a great strategy. There’s wisdom in playing the long game, especially when it comes to protecting and gradually growing your wealth.

I think something like a USD Eurobond mutual fund that offers around 9% per annum is actually a solid investment. And truth be told, I’m very much open to giving it a try… with a fraction of what I have in store.

Bro , I’m just coming back from the future. It’s not easy. You will lose a lot of money for so many years before you win , that’s if you win . I quote “if” …..

I don’t want to write long episodes . But the reason I’m here learning about mutual funds and tbills is because of the stress and loss you will have to take before you can become Dangote and the rest of them . I lost millions in 4 years trying to make it quick and big like the likes of dangote and Otedola. I don’t have that time and energy anymore because I don’t know if I will lose more . So I’m here investing in low risk investments.
your 150M can make you a billionaire in few years (less than 8 years ) if you invest and reinvest the daily profits in tbills , mmf , shares etc .. wisely . . That’s 75 million can give you half a billion. Use your head .
Wise and old men here advising you.

I recently received an inheritance and now have over ₦150-million just sitting here, doing nothing. I need solid advice on how best to invest this money. I’m looking for a moderate to high-yield investment that won’t be affected by the depreciation of the naira.

Let’s be real ….. we’ve all seen how bad the naira has devalued over the years. The last thing I want is to put my money into something, only to wake up in a few years and realize its value has been slashed into half. You know what I mean. Even if the business is in naira, it has to be highly profitable so that currency depreciation won’t eat away it.

I don’t want meaningless or negative suggestions…. only serious, well-thought-out opinions . I’m open to meeting up as well….. to discuss solid business ideas, and trust me, a handsome reward awaits whoever brings the best proposal.

That said, let me be clear:
I have the Commissioner of Police and EFCC on speed dial. If anyone thinks this is an opportunity for a scam, just know that any fraudulent attempt will be dealt with the full extent of the law.

If you have a genuine, profitable, and well-researched idea, let’s talk.
For starters I hope the funds is not idling in Naira while you contemplate. Change it to USA dollars if you haven't done so already. It's just around $100k.

2nd don't meet up. Play safe. You can use zoom for discussions if need be. Name, phone number might not be necessary at 1st until you decide who you want to partner with.

Lastly, I would split the funds and invest on 3-legs.
1. US stocks (you will earn quarterly dividends)
2. Bitcoin Spot trading (I didn't say crypto, rather BTC)
3. SAAS. (Acquire existing small tech companies, overhaul and resell)

Do your research on the 3 portfolios I mentioned before reaching out, that's if it aligns with your interest.

Hey, thanks again for the message. I’m really interested in the SAAS idea.. it stood out to me the most. But I’d like you to explain more clearly

Can you break it down for me step by step? Like:

1. What type of companies are you referring to exactly?
2. Are these companies already making money, or are they struggling and just have potential?
3. How do I find or buy them? Is there a platform where people sell these kinds of companies?
4. Once I buy one, what exactly needs to be done to “overhaul” it?
5. And finally, how do I resell or grow the companies ?

Thanks and I look forward to your response

1. Software products?
2. Yes, must already have some customers and monthly recurring revenue?
3. Bunch of places, example is flippa, do more research? Prices can range from low $$$$ to mid $$$$$
4. Overhauling is what makes the difference between what you bought in January and what you are reselling in June. It might be identifying additional marketing channels that takes your MRR from $500 to $10k. Or improving the product features or UI/UX. These things (depending on which route you go) may not require more than $1k to $3k?
5. If in a hurry to exit and locking some decent profit you can certainly resell on same platforms you bought, otherwise you wait for the investor to come to you and you exit like paystack did for example.?
If the SAAS biz is what caught your interest then you need to take out time to DYOR. If you are not a techy the learning curve will be steep. However it's more of marketing/salesmanship skills you need to excel. Reason you find a lot of Tech bros never excelling with their own products.
**Of the 3 ideas I gave, the SAAS is the only one that requires you being active on a day to day building things out. The other 2 are more passive.

Block head… Either answer the damn question or crawl back into the rabies infested dungeon of a vag**** you came out from
My candid advice to you if truly you have the money and you truly want to invest it where there is profit is this
1 Register a company name under CAC
2 venture into agriculture (cassava, egusi melon, pepper and corn)
Now in this business no need to buy lands you only will be renting them here in the south for the farming
3 buy a plot of land or half and raise a factory like structure for the processing and bagging of your products which will cost you like 3m
Here in the south a bag of garri costs 98k-100k for white garri and costs more for the yellow garri
If you can invest 10to20m on this you are sure of steady profits and also a company you can call your own

Good morning bro , Big thanks for all the insight you provided… it really got me thinking though .
Anyway I do have a few more questions to ask, just to get better clarity.

1. have you personally done this SAAS thing before now? Or maybe you know someone close to you that actually did it and made it work? I’m just trying to understand if this thing is real-life possible or just theory. 2. Like… what kind of product did they buy? How much did they start with? And how long did it take before they started seeing real results?

Also let me be honest… I’m not really a tech guy. I studied engineering small, so I fit learn anything wey I put mind, but I’m not into coding or building apps and all that. So I’m wondering, how possible is it for someone like me to succeed in this space, especially without any prior tech knowledge ..

Would really appreciate if you could shed more light on all that. Thanks

Still wondering how people are mistaking investments and keeping your money in a place to preserve the value.

People are mentioning Treasury bills and money market when someone is talking about investment. With the way Nigeria is going today, the two above are not investments but away of keeping your money to preserve it value. But unfortunately in Nigeria today, TB and money market can't preserve the value of your money in a year or more even with compounding stuff, rather your money will loose value even with that merger 20-23% interest per annum.

@AmgAmg, you can keep your money in the money market while looking for a legit investment to invest your money. Don't keep your money there and think you are investing, it is a total waste of time in Nigeria.

LOL, okay
1. Whether I or some I know has done SAAS biz successfully or "made it work" in your language is irrelevant here. Because it was successful for me doesn't mean it would be successful for you. Except you are implying that if I introduce you into transport business in Lagos and you are having hard times then I must make it work for you since I introduced you. If you are not ready to do your own research or you have done and the business seems like it's to difficult for you then move on irrespective of the potential profits.
2. You asked this earlier and I replied "software products". Application software, what you call apps, whether mobile or web.
** How much have you learnt on your own about SAAS business in the 48 hrs since I introduced it. I suggest you look at other opportunities as I earlier said the learning curve would be steep for you. Again I won't convince you on what to do with your money since I don't control how you go about doing it, I can only help you with what you already convinced about.

Appreciate the response.

First thing first

I think there might be a misunderstanding, though. When I asked if you or someone you know has done this before, I wasn't trying to blame anyone for my success or failure. I just wanted to know if there's real-life experience behind it. You see, having someone who's done it before can make a big difference. It's like having a proof of concept that it's possible.

If someone close to you has achieved something similar, it would help me understand the process better. Maybe I could even learn from them or work with them

Also just to mention, I’m not really looking to getting into Bitcoin right now… I don’t like the risk levels involved there. My main interest is something I can understand, shape, and grow over time…even if it takes time and effort.

Hello,
Firstly congratulations.
Secondly, it depends on your interest & personality; how do I mean:
i) are you someone who enjoys active earning, you enjoy the thrill of actively building something from scratch, negotiating deals, traveling & meeting different people.
ii) are you someone who rather prefers passive earning, you’d rather focus on your self actualization, culture, arts & leisure; knowing that you regularly have good secure income that meets your needs, desires & wants per time whatever that may be.

The answer to the above will give you focus on what exactly to do with it; once that clarity is set, what’s left is just going into the right vehicle to actualize your objective of either active or passive earning.

Active earning: only go into a business that can give you minimum of 65% net profit margins; this will help with the inflation in the economy.

Passive earning: prioritize return OF your Capital over return on capital. The returns must be predictable & fixed.

I run a Private Wealth management & planning advisory business. You are welcome to reach me for further discussions, and also any & everyone seeing this is welcome to reach out, so we can help you plan your wealth & financial life.

I’ll respond as soon as I am able. Thank you. Good Fortunes 🔮

Tohsynetita1:
It’s just normal importation business but from experience, I got a goods that can make you millions within 2 months if you use sea and millions in like 2 weeks if you use air.
80 percent of capital one spends on importation goes to transportation because how heavy the goods is will determine the money you will pay.
Normally, most goods in China store are very cheap, but if you add transportation fare, it will be almost the price sold here.
But from my research I got a good that is around 1 to 3g per one, which is sold at around 20 naira there, that same goods is 100 naira and more in Nigeria.
This goods is some that almost everybody use.
The seller want to sell 500k of 50kg,in price for me but the reason I didn’t buy was Moq was 500k piece which I didn’t have. The 50kg has 50 thousand pieces, if you use cbm to pick, 1cbm is around 700k currently , if you add 700k plus 500k, that’s 1.2 million, let say it’s 2 million, if you sell at 80 naira per item to retailers, 80 times 50000 is 4 million, you gain like 2 million, these is just estimation, the actual price of cbm is not up to 2million and 50kg of good can’t fill a cbm, it’s like half that it will fill, a cbm is like 1000 litre of stores tank but this item I am talking about is very light that a quantity is less than 2g, then the volume is small, it’s like half of regular atm card but thick like a sheet of paper. So you should know how that could be.
Do you want to partner with someone to do this business?
