In my neighborhood almost everyone has gun yet no one has come out to shoot into the sky since I started residing there.
In fact, families go out very often to visit shooting ranges and sites especially on weekends. I would have posted them here but that's not ideal. Sensible people have Guns hung up in their garages yet they have never pulled a trigger in years.

Many inherited rifles from grandparents who are long gone, yet they keep them maintained to pass unto kids.

These killings have nothing today with open grazing. The major aim of these attackers is to take over people's ancestral land. When they come and attack, the people that are not killed, will run away and the the land is occupied by the attackers. The government is aware of this and nothing is being done to stop it.
