Someone had the opportunity of leaving the shores of Nigeria only to go to abroad and start doing cultism. I don't understand Nigerians sometimes.

Leaving Nigeria is not an opportunity but a choice. Some of you talk like leaving Nigeria is such a big deal. Until you travel abroad and are struggling more than in Nigeria. Always talking like a loser.

All the times I left this country, especially in 2013 when I was away for about 3 months plus, I ensured I did not relate with Nigerians.

One time at a restaurant, this guy came up to start a conversation. We lived in the same hotel at the time, was seeing him regularly there. So, we talked for a while and I figured he's a Nigerian with a questionable business in the country. I ensured we never crossed paths again. I later moved out of the hotel to a rented apartment.

Not saying it's bad to relate with our countrymen abroad...just saying that I am uncomfortable establishing a relationship with someone I don't know so well..... especially persons with questionable characters.

Now, this young man that has managed to escape our country has gotten himself involved in one of the most stupid and senseless acts - cultism. Can never understand the reason people join cults. Them go say na to fight oppression but you and I know this is plane rubbish. I'm not a cultist, never been one...and nobody dey oppress me. In fact, na them dey even see the oppression...

People should learn to make better choices in this life sef. Parents got a lot to do! Media is deceiving parents....coercing them to make emphasis on the girl-child training...but in today's world, close attention should be paid to both male and female children...as both genders have their tendencies.

Sadly, the French authorities may not even give this guy better punishment. The other day, we read here that a man that killed a Nigerian septuagenarian only bagged 12 years. Imagine...just 12 years for taking a life!

They are the hell and it’s a good thing they are running out of Nigeria to places they will languish in hardship and prison till they die miserably. A lot are severely mentally ill. If you check the guy's travel history, he probably stayed in Italy before migrating to France and he's likely from Edo state. Italian police already know these people and the cultism they do! There's even a documentary about them on YouTube made by the Italian police.

I have seen this trend too much online and Italy-based Edo state indigenes are the ones involved in the cult the most, now they're exporting it to other European countries.

Please use the word some, have lived in Milan Italy for 7years, came in via study route, currently with a permanent residence permit which I got September last year(2024). From my study these guys constituting nuisance in Italy and France majority not all came in through land( Sahara desert and the Mediterranean sea) they won't integrate into the system causing problems for themselves. After having issues in Italy they pay some of these mafians to smuggle them to other part of Europe cause of free movement of goods and services (Europe is boderless)
