The answer is NO. In fact, Gaddafi was an ally of the US and NATO at the time NATO killed him. At the time of his murder, he had purchased multiple armored vehicles from the US (or France) and the US (or France) cancelled it.

Gaddafi had also warmed up to the US prior to his murder and even met with Obama and praised him in statements. That clearly isn’t a characteristic of a “Russian ally” as you’re trying to imply.

You think NATO and the US will back down? Nope. They will arm the other side to the teeth, and you will end up with a proxy war, which is the exact thing happening in Ukraine today.

The US promised to fight for Ukraine, didn’t they? Now, are they fighting for him? All they do is to give him weapons to send his own countrymen into the meat grinder while they steal his infrastructure, farmland, and natural resources. If what the US is doing in Ukraine is your definition of “ally”, then there is a big problem somewhere.
