This is ridiculous! How on earth should such a judgement be melted out? I really don't get it ........ The man did something very terrible, but I don't think his punishment is truly deserving. Sometimes, our judges are so quick to give rash and undeserving judgement precipitated by mere emotions, gender and public outcry. Ten/twenty years imprisonment would have been better. Mind you, there are comprador criminal bourgeois out there enjoying and frolicking in Nigeria prisons......one self has just finished his educational program and has turned a teacher in correctional center.

This is outright rubbish..let me use myself as an example,,i married a woman that is very manipulative..She was very good outside but she gave me shege when we were alone..The problem started when she started visiting abuja frequently..She started comparing me with others to d extent that i saw numerous chat with men..i kept my cool because i loved her.. Meanwhile she was painting as a demon in front her family to d extent d ones in London would call dt they heard how av being calling them all sort of names..


To cut d whole story short,,d abuja lifestyles changed her n she started seeing other men..Pls,,men tolerate a lot in marriages..my only lucky charms why i didn't take laws into my hands was to relocate back to lag..What u don't see doesn't kill..story long sha.. inshort,,fear women...

What's the forensic evidence that he killed her? Even if he hit her a couple of times prior to her death, is that enough to sentence him to death? In sane climes a sentence of between 5 to 10 ten years would have sufficed since he didn't murder her in Cold blood.

There is a clear difference between The Commandments issued to the Jews and the Commandment of Christ under grace.

Christ said the greatest commandment that supercedes the law and the prophets remains:

Thou shall love the Lord your God, and thou shall love thy neighbor as thyself.


If we go by the laws regarding marriage given to the Jews (Yes, Apostle Paul was quoting the law of the Jews in 1 Cor. 7), then Christ erred severally during his Earthly ministry as pointed out by the Scribes and Pharisees.

What does Asunder mean?!! How do you put a union of love asunder?!!

You put asunder when you cheat on your partner, when you are violent and abusive towards them, when you make their lives a living Hell!

It's likely the children didn't even understand the implications of directly linking their dad to their mum's death. They're still very young and would have probably been influenced by the woman's relatives to testify against him. When a child is young, they always believe that anything their mum dies is right and their dad wrong until they become adults and then fully understand everything. I think the judgement was rather too harsh
