Reason why I prefer a modern well equipped Tecno or Infinix over a flagship Samsung.

1. You get 3 times less the price compared to Samsung and yet at least 90% of Same features.

2. Cheaper replacement screen and parts compared to Samsung.

3. Better battery and battery fast charging experience compared to Samsung. Flagship Tecno and Infinix is 90 or 100 watts fast charging or even more.

4. Strong Network reception. My infinix and Tecno always get good Network where my Samsung struggles.

5. You still get powerful quality brand new 70 to 100 watts Fast chargers and earbuds with Tecno and Infinix even at the cheaper price while expensive Samsung offers none

6. Samsung phones with their almighty super expensive screens suddenly develop lines on the screen without even dropping it. Happens during updates or regular use.

Never happens to Tecno or Infinix

Story for the gods.

But Infinix and Tecno looses 80% of its value within a year of usage, and also they don’t receive android update, while Samsung retains its value and and also supports uptill 3 years of android version update.

Same way people go for Toyota instead of Rolls royce na. Poor people go for what they can afford.

Guy you just go for what you can afford, trust me Samsung is better.
Not just about the price Samsung is actually like the boss of android.

And no mention about your finances?... Because that is the major factor

Completely wrong. Tecno and Infinix of few years back sell costlier that Samsung of Same year. Go to computer village and see. Mint Tokunbo Tecno Camon 19 pro 256Gb sells slightly costlier than Samsung S10 for instance.

Tecno and Infinix from at least 2 years back come with 2 years software and Android update.

Please ask a recent model Tecno or Infinix user to confirm. Also search on Google to see.

I'll even pick S10 or Note 10 plus over any Tecno 2025 flagship.

When talking about affordability, I prefer buying an expensive stuff that'll last years and still have high resale value than get a cheap inferior stuff that won't be the same in 3 years.

Same reasons, lots of people prefer Japanese rides like Toyota, over their German counterparts like Mercedes. Affordability and ease of repairs are almost non negotiable for the average man.

Same way I was hyping Samsung. I bought s21 + less than a year it started with one green like now screen went blind. I'm asked to bring 300k to fix the screen. Samsung is a useless brand. They always have screen issues and so costly to repair it.

these Samsung phones: S20, s21, s22, s23, s24 has made me run from Samsung. I bought s21+, I didn't use it for up to a month B4 The screen suddenly went blank 2 days after I did OS update. I bought s23 that one self no last. The alternative is Google Pixel but their dual SIM version is very rare.

I had to go for a Motorola phone that have spec I like. I'm using it for the main time till I am able to find a Google Pixel 7/8 that uses dual SIM

Samsung is a useless brand people just hype it because they can't afford iPhone. I've been using iPhone since 2016 I've never had any screen having green lines issues, I use android as my second phone especially redmi they are great phones. The only time I got a Samsung phone the screen went blind under 6 month.

I don't know why people hype a brand that have screen defects. Even their television same screen issues.


I regretted buying anything Samsung.


It will never be well with Samsung and the people hyping them.

I know I can use up to 8 esim on an iPhone but this is Nigeria, I don't want anything that will make me contact customer service or any need to go to an office for assistance. Please Which redmi can you recommend? There's probably I will visit computer village,ikeja tomorrow to get a phone. I have checked jiji duh, yet to make final decision. My budget is 350/450k for a phone for myself and 150k for my 3yrs old baby girl tab. Thanks

I love the fact that the phone comes with 45W charger and the fingerprint is under glass display. Same with s21+ but that1 show me pepper, e no dey respond on time. Thanks a lot for ur time.

You guy will go buy second hand Samsung phone which they might have replaced the screen with fake parts. I've used all Samsung flagship phones right from Galaxy Note Edge and I have ever experienced screen problem. I buy my phone brand name or from the US where I know all parts are genuine.

I did lots of research then, I realized that issue is common with S20 to S24 na so I vex keep the phone inside my word rope, it was after 3 months I decided to sell it. The person interested in it was testing it when it suddenly come back on. I use fast charger at home. Maybe it was my slow car charger that brought it back to life I just told the buyer to add money cuz I didn't want to disappoint him and besides the phone would have still been dead inside word rope if he didn't show interest in it.

Stop lying man. If you buy a Samsung brand new, it comes with 24 months warranty on issues like that. They will always fix it as long as it isn't physical damage.

I saw the S21 posted for sale in the past, I guess that's the phone you are talking about. That phone has cracks all over the screen or screen protector.

I went back to the shop, the seller expected me to add money to collect another phone. And no I didn't post the s21+ online, I posted my Google Pixel 4 for sell, I told the buyer about my s21+ and he showed interest in it.
