I landed in enugu around 9:10 pm today.

The rain was heavy loke no man's business.

There was no keke or bus to get me to my destination. That holy ghost and it's environs was deserted.

No single vehicle. Not one.

I stood there drenched in the persisting rain wondering if this is the city that claims to have a boisterous night life and always gets into a night life dick measuring contest with Lagos.

So in Enugu, life actually ceases by 9?


But you guys will go to Lagos and be enjoying all time mobility.

If only Nigeria will make a law mandating everyone to remain in their states.

Where you expecting keke and bus drivers to be on the road inside the rain? Mind you keke and mini bus closes by 9pm according to state law, only taxi and long bus are allowed on the road by then

Is it not ridiculous for the most common means of transportation to close by 9pm?

I tried getting a taxi to my destination but taxi was telling me 10k for what keke would get 200 naira.

And that was the only taxi I saw after waiting for close to 45 mins
