Please can someone wager a guess on the possible reason for Nairaland's most recent obsession with drug stories from India? One or two of these stories a week could be excused. But these stories almost every single day of the week on the front page? Something is going on with that.

If out of every 50 yahoo boys caught per year, 47 of them turn out to be yorubas, then it should be a cause for alarm. From the old days when buhari introduced the capital punishment for drug peddling till date, 99% of the peddlers turn out to be igbos. Rhe statistics is out there or better still do your own research. Igbos constitute the highest number of foreign inmates in Asian prisons and you thin they are there for selling legitimate goods? India self is not looking for solution! India should hire one man from Nigeria to help them identify and spot any of them that want to enter India. The solution is to keep denying them visas for whatever they want to come and do in India. Those who are diplomats among them should sign undertaking with surety. If they go outside to sell slippers, many of them will still end up in drug; they get lucrative jobs out there, many will still end summarizing the whole things with illegal drugs.

Spirit of illegal drugs(if there is anything like that) follow them around. No more than 3% of their billionaires has clean money with no trace of illegality in their entire life of hustling. Their leaders are not serious to tackle this yet since many of them has same dirty background.They keep complaining Nigeria is bad, but they are the sources of that badness.
