The truth of the matter is Nigerian politicians are not principled but a bunch of dishonorable honorables. Unfortunately, the electorates make them so and worship this collection of thieves without honor.

Not when hardened looters and criminals have made criminality attractive and desirable in a way never seen in history. Remember; "Join the APC first and Your sins are forgiven afterwards." Adams Oshiomole.
A hypocrite such as you has no moral right to point fingers, the candidate you follow is a serial decampee, even went as far as hijacking a party just to satisfy his needs. You guys should learn to keep quiet at times cos when you try to make the APC look bad, there are thousands of reasons to see you guys are just as bad if not worse.

Nigerian parties lack ideology because the struggles of life make it difficult to be propounding ideology

Like back in the day, a lot of our universities used to produce graduates with a lot of ideology, mainly of the Marxist line. Yet today we do not have a strong Marxist movement in Nigeria , and it is not because of the cold war

As soon as a graduate leaves university and gets a job, his family, his wife's family and his friends pester him for money. He thus has to work to obtain such money. There is no time for ideology as a result.

Under such conditions, the best party is one that gives you some palliative to vote for them. A little money helps a lot. grin

At the end, no one has time for ideology. It's for the ajebutters who care about such things

Won't work. Under a divided Nigeria, people will care about daily bread. Ideology won't be the last thing on their mind

It's strange how he tends to label others as paid shills, yet one can see he's been on overdrive lately to demarket other candidates/parties and indeed the nation.

see most nigerian politicians are thieves and fraudulent people. they win election in a fraudulent way then their minions will make people believe they are the smartest when it comes to wining vote.
.
during collation of result they will switch of the IREV and start telling stories so been fraudulent does not and will never make them a smart person
He who count the vote decide the winner
You have spoken well. This is the major reason we are where we are today. Wrong and dubious people in the corridors of power.
Only the poor masses suffer.
Quite unfortunate.

There is also the question of a culture of political participation. People in Nigeria do not have or believe in civic duties. Hence, it is easy for a couple of wealthy people to hijack power.

It amuses me how they come on social media and try to change the narrative to suit their candidate when the history of the candidate is all over the internet and even his predecessors have all spoken against him, they actually believe Nigerians are dull that's why they think he will get a free pass to the presidency.

In my view, that is not the case. I strongly believe it is largely a lack of political participation culture in the country. Ideology does not have to be as hardcore as Marxism or anarcho-syndicalism. It can simply be about how much resources should a polity devote to healthcare or education or petrol subsidy.

The poor participation in local government is even more appalling.

You should see how social democracy grew roots in Northern Europe. It wasn’t ajebutters or mercantile class that built it.

I don’t understand what you mean by an individualistic society. Would you consider a society where every man digs his own well, procures his own security, generates his own electricity and barely has any ties with his community. He can’t influence his community to contribute to build a road or clear gutters or put up security.

like your agulu fraud too?

Abi y is he running around like castrated kangaroo
Buhari has been there for eight years
it was blood, death and depression for Nigerians
he took naira from 216 to 700 a dollar

Tinubu is there now
worse than Buhari in all metrics
insecurity has worsened
Economy in shambles
Nothing is working aside tribalism, corruption and nepotism

This dunce took naira from 700 to 1500 a dollar under one year
People can't feed
I have never seen half bottle of mineral being sold in my life.. i saw it in Lagos Tinubu built.

Obi has never been president..
maybe never will because of his political naiveness. But he's miles ahead of the other dunce in showing empathy for the poor, suffering masses.

Nigeria is gone
Japa is the only solution for the youths
No medical practitioners left in the country
Bank managers in Nigeria are fleeing to Cyprus to sweep Streets..
Nigeria is gone
cheer it on as it goes,
