And lo, this witness has no solid identity.

His place of birth is fictitious; his birth is fictitious; his death is fictitious.

Clearly he does not want to be identified.

And this means that he either does not exist (most likely) or he is not who he says he is.

Therefore, his testimony is great suspect and cannot be relied upon nor believed.

Let's play small devil's advocate here........ Do you know many authors of the books in the bible are not known?? Will you say that invalidates the accounts written there in??

Well........Catholics are full of propaganda quite all right.....but fabricating the death of Peter as a form of illegal connection to Christianity isn't all that plausible to me..

I mean, those Mary worshippers are the ones that single handedly made a religion out of the followership of Jesus .......they might be full of shiit but u gotta give them some credit for blowing the trumpet of Jesus/christinaity loud enough before the Islamic caliphate came with their crusades....,

The difference is, look at their reports. You would see that has any reasonable reason to query their reports nor do we really have any reasonable cause to question (cross examine) them.

Then, another peculiar fact we also see about the other writers in the bible is that we can see other people (witnesses), even elsewhere and at a different time make independent reference (corroboration) to them and their reports.

And even other events contemporaneously following the bases of those events reported.

So the Bible forms a chain with even a kind of set pattern.

Unlike, this guy's report. Everyone is first hit with the fact that there is something wrong with it and that the report does not add up aka make sense.

We will can feel that there is no way Peter would die like that. We all can feel it.

And so we all have some questions we wish to put to the witness.

And now, I have gone looking for this witness and the records say that he is missing and that he kind of does not exist with his mystery full birth and death and unfounded identity.

And that he is even Roman Greek, which leads to the question when and how did he become a Christ Follower that he could even get close to Peter?

And neither does he give us the report of when and where Peter was arrested, before whom (court) was he tried and found guilty of death; and who and who was there when all these was happening.

And in fact how he got to be there and saw all these things he claims he saw.

There is no independent report anywhere else of anyone corroborating any of these things.

How come he is the only one who said he saw these things?

And the reports do not say that he is the hangman/execution nor that his house was used as the execution grounds, where he could have had a "private viewing".

But people are always there in an execution, yet this not-identifiable guy is the only one who saw it all.

C'mon. This is clearly a Fabrication.

The New Testament was invented by the Roman Empire.

The Torah is the religious book the Jews have and it's not an Old Testament.

Thanks to btoks, I have obtained the necessary correction that takes me towards the Truth, for I was searching for the person who said Peter died upside down but was led to Eusebius and Jerome whom because both are bearing Eusebius, I thought that they are one and the same person, hence this thread.

Thus, it is clear that the person this thread identifies as fictitious is Jerome of Stridon.

Meanwhile I was searching for the person (witness) who said that Peter was killed in an upside down cross to see if he answered or can answer questions I have to ask.

And now thanks to btoks, I can see that the person I am looking for is a person called Eusebius of Caesarea.

So, I ask him,...

His most famous work(Ecclesiastical History) was written around 311AD and specifically mentions Peter’s martyrdom in Rome.
If you're saying Eusebius "does not exist," then I seriously question the integrity of your so-called investigation.

When and where Peter was arrested?

Before whom (court) was he tried and found guilty of death;

Who and who was there when all these was happening?

How did he get to be there to see all these things he claimed he saw happen?

The Eusebius character is questionable, doubtful and sketchy. I raised a query on him and till today no one is able to answer.
