larride:As regards the bolded, If Nigerian government is serious the best way to solve this NNPC issue is to sell the refineries off to private sector and then have NNPC face its primary work of regulation. The government can actually have NNPC working closely with whatever private investor to determine the equitable price of PMS and diesel such that the private investors will be in profit and exploitation is reduced to the barest minimum. It is not rocket science, it can be done. |

diggz:.....current hardship is a result of Tinubu's policies. The policies are very much necessary to save this country from ending up on Alibaba for sale. No pain, No gain. |

diggz:As far as Tinubu and APC are concerned, OasisX will continue to do propaganda but he knows his Lord and Saviour has disappointed massively. His mantra of prosperity is close has stopped and there's no renewed hope anymore, only renewed total state capture. |

larride:This is where the buck stops on Tinubu's Table. How does a political appointee fail to do his job and then gets to keep his job for that long? Although I really do not see anything changing with NNPC if it doesn't go under a completely new ownership that is not named FG. In as much as NNPC remains NNPC which the FG has control over, things would most likely not change. |

OasisX:Who exactly are you expecting to sacrifice? The common man who is subjected to abject poverty by Tinubus government, or your useless people in power who are still squandering whatever we have while borrowing more for audio projects and achievements? Please let us know. Meanwhile, the summary of your post na say Tinubu has failed. Well done bro |

GloriousGbola:That is the problem with socialism and govt run agencies, You can never get accountability and they cannot be fired cos thats when they will shout about job losses and want to kill DOGE |

BlueRayDick:Until we do this above we will be celebrating our 70th birthdays and still be reading about TAM in refineries Its govt money, so we can chop it anyhow, lets see if any private investor will watch his own investment embezzled like this |

Kimbeast:You are guilty of always going off point. As a matter of fact, it’s extremely difficult to have a proper conversation with someone like you, who basically lacks experience or knowledge on most things but still tries to make silly points or claims. This is how you started chatting nonsense a few months ago about Burna, the UK entertainment industry, and other artists. To be honest, your takes on anything aside from football are usually rubbish, especially when it comes to the rainbow colours and wokeness. By the way, no one is saying you shouldn’t be part of that community or support what it represents. Na your business be that! What we’re saying is that we want to return to football and sports matters without any agenda from your people. |

raumdeuter:you worked in big 4 consulting so please don't conflate the smoke and mirrors of DOGE with actual business optimization. is that how you guys ran your audits? false unverifiable announcements of savings? sacking people and then trying to hire them back? your beloved DOGE is attacking regulatory agencies , not govt run parastatals untrained children with no experience, barely out of school with 0 understanding of the industries they are supposed to be 'regulating and nothing but the mandate of a 'ceo' looking for government contracts to drive them the us public institutions are being reduced to the level of the third world institutions you hold in contempt the US regulatory industry is being gutted to the level of third wold backwaters. it is no something to celebrate. |

diggz:Two paragraphs of nothing tangible. You can stick to the Nigeria league were you won't see anything woke. Football is not only played in Europe. Win win for you. |

diggz: ![]() .......you accidentally missed this part sir. This is not PRs; Tinubu is doing a commendable job, but the damages are so extensive that the common man hasn’t felt the impact yet. We will enjoy the gains eventually, but only if we can endure the pain. |
| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by diggz: 1:44pm On Apr 30, 2025 |
Kimbeast:Of course, any post that doesn’t agree with your community is never valid in your eyes. The good thing is that the UK government and Supreme Court can now properly define what a woman is. I’m sure the next step is for wokeness to move away from the mainstream and into your private spaces so everyone can enjoy their lives and sports in peace. Win win for everyone. |

GloriousGbola:If these agencies were efficient, there would never have been a need for DOGE in the first place US govt run offices are significantly worse than US private organizations by several degrees The pentagon has failed audits for almost 7yrs in a row, If this were to be a private organization, will it continue to be in business? People go to govt offices and spend entire days, reminiscent of the days you spend entire days at NITEL, NEPA First Bank and Union Bank of the 90s Ordinary to write 5 things you did last week and send to your manager, which people in the private sector have been doing for ages became a problem |
| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by GloriousGbola: 1:52pm On Apr 30, 2025 |
raumdeuter:oga simple question you worked in a company that audits banks and organizations are they following the same process? is that how it is done? even internal control and audit in private organizations are not run by people with no experience i am very sure if they had brought a university graduate ir maybe an it student to oversee yur unit and the person sent you an email asking you to detail what you do you would be falling over yourself top answer a power mad child |
| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by raumdeuter: 2:00pm On Apr 30, 2025 |
GloriousGbola:Write what you did and send to your manager. Simple, How is that difficult? but when people see govt jobs as a form of entitlement and welfare not where they provide value then they kick against it What an average govt worker does at work, they will never try in a govt organization Go on DOGE page and see the things govt money is used for https://x.com/DOGE If any of these people are running their own private organizations if that how they will spend the money |

BlueRayDick:You cannot ask the government to hands off and then turn around to start asking them to be helping set the price of the product. If you are the private investor, will you agree? Unless the government wants to start paying off subsidies again, makes no sense. The best structure is still the NLNG structure where both parties work hand in hand. NLNG run like a private company and they pay dividends to the govt through NNPC. NNPC can be structured that way also. In fact that's what the drafter of the PIA that was passed intended. |
| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by larride(m): 2:20pm On Apr 30, 2025 |
BlueRayDick:You need to go read the PIA as it relates to the privatilization of the NNPC. In fact the President won't be the one appointing it's MD again after the successful IPO, it will be run like a proper business is run. |

OasisX's Prosperity in a nutshell.... 1.High cost of food and groceries. 2. High electricity tariffs. 3. High fuel prices 4. Increase in taxes and custom duties 5. Triple increase in school school fees that now double as horror stories? 6. Let's not forget the charming bank and telecom charges—just little tokens of affection. 7. High increase in Transportation cost 8. Rent? 9. insecurity? Lol Life expectancy may be shrinking, but at least Tinuke is trying, right? Nigeria is definitely in safe hands... if those hands belong to a thief. A true golden era. |

afrodoc:Chai, what do you think could be the cause of that Doc? |
| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by GloriousGbola: 2:35pm On Apr 30, 2025 |
larride:this is actually why it may not eventually work out. because NNPC has always served as a source of clandestine funding for the serving administration it will take an act of extreme political will to unbundle nnpc and its purse strings |
| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by larride(m): 2:35pm On Apr 30, 2025 |
BlueRayDick:Sure. The practicability of it depends on the President and the NNPC MD |
