There should have been only one major tribe in Southern Nigeria. The persistent problem and division we face in the South largely stem from the presence of two dominant tribes competing for influence.

In contrast, Northern Nigeria has a single major tribe, which has fostered a stronger sense of unity among its people. I do not fully understand why the British colonial masters established two major tribes in the South, but whatever the reason, it has led to deep-rooted divisions and ongoing power struggles.

Unless this issue is addressed, the South will remain divided, and the rivalry between the two major southern tribes will persist. Neither group is willing to concede to the other, making cooperation difficult.

The only viable solution lies in true state autonomy. Until this is achieved, the tensions and conflicts between the South's two leading tribes will continue to hinder unity and progress.

I’m not sure if you’re genuinely misunderstanding or just trying to be provocative because this is a faceless forum. This is meant to be an intellectual discussion, not a space for immature or off-topic behavior. Perhaps it’s time for Seun to consider creating a separate section for children undecided

I’m referring to the three major tribes as recognized in the Nigerian constitution. Are you seriously trying to make a joke out of this? Even if you're a teenager, wasn’t this taught in primary school? Please allow mature minds to make meaningful contributions and kindly refrain from unnecessary comments.
