I am a fighter, I am a fighter, is only possible when there's an opponent to fight. President Tinubu can not allow him fight anyone in Apc. That would be shooting himself in the foot.

Edo is already an Apc state, now Delta has joined. When Akwa ibom, Bayelsa and Fubara where to join Apc, the battle is over for Wike. He can't fight northern pdp, so automatically he either focuses on being FCT minister or loses relevance politically in the south.

in politics you can never underestimate anyone, hence it is better to have a paper weight on your side than to have the paper weight against you. Tinubu won the last election with just over 2m votes that is the size of just 3 local governments in some states

In Delta State, he is a heavy weight politician, someone that kept James Ibori, Omo Agege and the rest from capturing the state is not a small politician. In delta PDP, he was in control before the defection.

PDP should work to put their house in order..
