Last month, he was boasting that Anioma State Bill will be passed into Law and that Governor Sheriff Oborevwori/PDP is Envious of him. ![]() Now Sheriff has gone to his APC house to become Landlord. ![]() What Happens to his Position as Senator? Bcus Okowa will Claim that seat in 2027. ![]() It's like Baba has LOST on all sides. ![]() Again, Can his Anioma State Dream see the Light of Day again? 🤔😒 |

Are you saying other Delta state tribes that are not Anioma are not supportive of Anioma state so they can have the oil rich Delta south to themselves? |

PresidObi:NOBODY apart from Ned Nwoko and his Community close to Asaba is interested in this Anioma State brouhaha. ![]() In Delta north, the Tribes there are hardly interested. ![]() Okowa that is now in APC is not interested. So I wonder if Ned Nwoko's Anioma State dream is Not a Pipe dream. ![]() |

Ned has been checkmated. This mass defection was a masterstroke to neutralize all the enemies of the current Delta state governor and his immediate predecessor. |

Ned is just keeping us busy with his anioma rubbish, go to delta north and ask him which Constituency project has he done or currently doing |

Ned nwoko left the PDP because he won't be giving a return ticket to the senate in 2027. His best bet now is to return to the PDP because the governor won't still let him have the ticket in the APC. |

Lol. I see Governor Sheriff fighting for his re-election in APC. |

Vinnie2000:I am all in total support of this Anioma state and if it is down to Ned and his Asaba clan getting it and from there lumped to the SE , let it be so. My reasons for this are simply because the demographics of Asaba has been totally altered with core Ibos moving in. Since they began migrating and settling into Asaba , they began claiming the entire Delta state as ibo land. Let Asaba get their ibo state so it can be the delineating boundary that they dare not cross. After all, when Adekunle's 3rd Marine Commandos recaptured Delta South and central through Warri, they did not chase Biafran soldiers beyond the boundary with present day Delta north. Even long before Ned came out with his Anioma state project I had written here calling for same due to how Ibos are settling in Asaba and I warned that they will soon declare entire Delta as ibo territory and they will offset the fragile zoning pattern in state. If you think ibo migration is harmless , go and read up on how most of present day Abia which was once Effik ended up being ibo land. Also see how ibo migrants in Lagos are dragging ownership of that state with Yorubas. I am all in for Anioma even if it's just Asaba . |
| Re: Okowa's Defection To APC: What Happens to Ned Nwoko and his Anioma State Dream? by DomPerignon: 1:58pm On May 01, 2025 |
WhizdomXX:Not going to happen. Whose going to challenge him when he has collapsed the entire Delta PDP into APC? If you think your LP has any chance think again . By the way, Ned might just be heading to LP to contest the next gubernatorial elections but outside his Asaba clansmen and ibo settlers, no other people will vote him and his LP. |
| Re: Okowa's Defection To APC: What Happens to Ned Nwoko and his Anioma State Dream? by DomPerignon: 2:01pm On May 01, 2025 |
PresidObi:Delta South and central are in total support of Anioma. The injustice of having that backward Asaba made the capital due to Mariam Babangida's influence which led to resources from the south and central used in developing Asaba should end. The only people against Anioma are majority of Delta north tribes who are not from Asaba . And they against it because they don't want to be lumped into the SE. |
| Re: Okowa's Defection To APC: What Happens to Ned Nwoko and his Anioma State Dream? by pazienza(m): 2:09pm On May 01, 2025 |
DomPerignon:No Igbo man is interested in any land where Igbo dialect is not spoken as mother tongue. No time in history have Igbos tried to invade other ethnic groups to build empires. We have always been strongly republican and democratic in nature, not seeking to rule over anyone else, and at same time resisting any attempts by anyone else to rule us. Stop all these empty propaganda of Igbos being interested in other parts of Delta other than Anioma. No well breastfed Igbo man wants anything to do with you Minorities, IPOB are not well breastfed Igbos, they don't represent Ndiigbo, as Ndiigbo have long rejected any multiethnic Biafra with Igbo resenting minorities. We only want all Igbo speaking groups in Delta lumped into Anioma state with Asaba as capital and then ceded to SE as the 6th state. This is not an expansionist move, it's a unity move. Anioma is Igbo and should be in SE with other Igbos. |

DomPerignon:but you are the one crying over it, not them. BTW, can you list the major projects that are done in Anioma with resources from the south? All the shopping malls, hotels, estates, and of course nollywood are what is developing Asaba and they are mainly Igbo investment. |
| Re: Okowa's Defection To APC: What Happens to Ned Nwoko and his Anioma State Dream? by Davoski001: 4:03pm On May 01, 2025 |
Nwoko has shown that he is not a smart man at all. But He can hold them by the blockos, switch party again, ask for Anioma state to be granted before 2027, once it’s done then he can switch allegiance again to their party. |

Vinnie2000:as we speak even the kings in igbanke Edo state have met Ned nwoko several times so that they can be included in the anioma state we the anioma's want our own state it is all about the coming together of the western igbos to unite with their kit and kins across the river or are u not happy that the igbos want to unite with there brothers in the east ? |
| Re: Okowa's Defection To APC: What Happens to Ned Nwoko and his Anioma State Dream? by peterincredible: 4:26pm On May 01, 2025 |
DomPerignon:I am from delta state from the Igbo speaking part (delta north)and I will say this clearly what u just wrote up there is total nonsense we the anioma's are pure, undiluted and ancient igbos the migration of igbos into asaba and other Igbo speaking part of delta state shouldn't be a thing of concern because it is all Igbo land and currently the anioma land is developing rapidly please stop trying to make it look as if we the delta igbos are different from the hintherland igbos we are all the same and I want the anioma state to be actualize and yes there might be other tribes in the delta north(Benin migrants, Yoruba and igalas) but they have all been assimilated into the Igbo culture and they are our brothers the creation of the state is all about unifying the igbos, the western igbos uniting with the hintherland igbos any body wey no like am is an enemy of unity and peace |

| Re: Okowa's Defection To APC: What Happens to Ned Nwoko and his Anioma State Dream? by Davoski001: 10:27am On May 02, 2025 |
Vinnie2000:These men have no shame or character, so switching parties shouldn’t be a problem. He can go back to PDP or join LP. Once he does this , it would definitely make APC rattled. This is because they know Delta North is totally gone and if they would get anything, say a handful it would only be in Ika axis. If he chooses to stay in APC then he should know he is down the chain. |
| Re: Okowa's Defection To APC: What Happens to Ned Nwoko and his Anioma State Dream? by stanluiz(m): 11:03am On May 02, 2025 |
DomPerignon:No resources from Delta Central or south was used to develop Asaba. Asaba is hub of real estate, shopping malls, hotels and also a Nollywood Hub. It is Igbos that make it happen. Onitsha an industrial and commercial city which is close to Asaba also help massive development in Asaba. Asaba is peaceful, serene and calm. Asaba is more developed more than any cities in delta state. Let Delta South and Central used their resources to develop warri that is the headquarters of kidnapping, oil bunkering, militancy, sea robbery and pricy, crisis and riots and other social vices. |

Davoski001:He is already DOOMED. ![]() If he stays in APC, he will suffer Oppression/Marginalization. ![]() If he moves to PDP or Labour Party, he still cannot get re-election into the Senate in 2027 as Okowa who is eyeing his position will thrash him at the polls. ![]() OKOWA has crumbled him and Omo-agege with the Defection move. ![]() |

stanluiz:You don't know what you are saying. Oil from those tho senotorial district was used to develop Asaba. When did they start to act movie in Asaba. Okowa concentrated more development there as governor. Asaba is the state capital and your saying no other city in delta is better, how will he not be better. Government house and other important offices are there. If you say some igbos contributed to the development, then you are right not saying you all developed their. Is the airport built by a person. What of the road infrastructures, schools and so on. |
